We had a truly wonderful experience celebrating my mum’s birthday at Good Family Steamboat.

I made the booking via WhatsApp, and they thoughtfully arranged a meticulously prepared birthday decoration in a private room. The ambiance was luxurious, cozy, and heartwarming, making it perfect for a meaningful family gathering. It’s no surprise they’re called “Good Family”, they really live up to the name.

The service was excellent! The staffs were experienced, attentive, and friendly. They even helped us take photos and brought over fun birthday props to make the celebration extra special.

As for the food, the broth was amazing! We especially loved the herbal soup enhanced with a shot of cognac and a shot of wine! It’s absolutely flavourful and aromatic! Every detail from the food to the service was top-notch.

As a sweet final touch, they even served a complimentary birthday fruit plate for us after the meal, such a sweet and unexpected gesture! Vouchers were also given as a token of appreciation for dining there.

We had a birthday celebration today, and we were amazed by the service of the staff.

First, they put us at a nice corner beside the window for more privacy. They had been very attentive throughout our meal. We were happy with our food. Ingredients are fresh, portions are big, soup is not too salty.

Next, we were welcomed to another clean table for the cake cutting session.

They then served our birthday cake on a nice platform with decoration, props for photos, free fruit plate, and ice creams for each of us. And of course they sang us the birthday song.

We had a memorable celebration here. Even though we didnt spend much here, but they had provided us with nice hospitality, which we highly appreciated. It's sad to admit that this is a rare situation in JB. Most of the times, you have to pay expensive prices for good service, or even worse, you pay expensive prices and still get bad service.
