Yang Kopi 潮洋 - Mount Austin — Restaurant in Johor

Was actually looking forward to the 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗠𝟭𝟴.𝟵𝟬++, sounds so flavorful and delicious but it was a disappointment. The prawn wasn't fresh and it was mushy, and the taste of the Mee Bandung was not very tasty.

Another item that caught my eye was the 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗥𝗠𝟳.𝟵𝟬++ but also not very yummy. Not much taste in the cheese, felt dry.

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗠𝟵.𝟵𝟬++ Hiyo, tasteless, need to add soya sauce. Tiny bits of century egg, salted eggs and even minced meat are also tiny 😅

The staff are very swift and responsible in their service. We requested for extra ice and even though they were busy, it was done and served to us with a heartwarming smile. We ordered breadstick with only 2 sauces, the staff while serving it to us realised it and immediately passed us an extra serve of sauce as it should be 3 sauces. I would say this is purely service-oriented minded staff. If only all the staff in other cafe are this meticulous.

The bread was toasted fragrantly and on point. Served to us while hot and not charred. Eggs were boiled to the correct texture and timing.

The beef rendang and sauce were cooked to a nice aromatic taste.

I ordered mee siam with fried chicken. Love the texture and the fried chicken is just right. Tasted the curry chicken, love it too. Its not those curry chicken that has a sweet taste. Even the mee siam don't have that creepy sweet taste. Butter kaya toast is worth the try too. My only feedback - soooo many servers came and check our order chit and it was kinda annoying and when they check, they don't check properly and keep asking if our orders are all served.
