June 2023: A few months ago I visited this outlet when they just newly opened. Their wanton noodles were nice. However, after a few visits later, their noodle taste changed. The soup used to be nice but now became heavily peppered. Char siew only gave a few little pieces which are sliced very thinly and tasteless. Wantons are very small, fillings are very very minimal. The fillings are like mashed meat, can't taste meat texture. Their curry chicken is really nice though. Now i only go here for their curry chicken noodle.
Update (Oct 2023): Brought friends to eat here again for supper. The restaurant standard has gotten from bad to worse. Ordered curry chicken, the worker served just a pathetic chicken drumstick in the bowl with some gravy, not even a single piece of potato. Told the worker to take it back.
Ordered fried wanton but not crispy.
In the beginning when the Chinese guy store manager was still around overseeing the shop, the standard was good. He told us he will be going over to Tun Aminah outlet. After he left Permas outlet, the restaurant standard really dropped. I hope the shop owner will do something to improve the food quality and standard. Meanwhile, u are...
Read moreThe waitress has a bad attitude for the whole service when we were in the restaurant. Ordered teh ais, but it came with a darker color almost like kopi ais. We asked "what is this?" The waitress replied "tengok sendiri apa u order." We: "huh?" She repeated and pointed on the bill, said "tengok sendiri."
The staffs can't understand well english and malay. Ordered a non spicy wanton mee but end up served with a spicy wanton mee. Raise up the above issue. However, the staffs keep saying, yeah that is what we ordered. Pointing to the bill and tried to explain few times to them that they served wrong food. But failed to get what we mean.
The soup taste heavy pepper and the fried wanton was not crispy.
Kindly supervise and train your staffs well for problem solving and...
Read moreChanced upon this stall selling wanton noodle after my late night massage. This shop is located about 2 mins walk away. I reached there around 1 am and there were still quite a few tables of diners. Apart from wanton noodle, they also sell a few other varieties of noodles and side dishes. The price of the wanton noodle starts from MYR$8 onwards.
My bowl of noodle didn't take long to be ready. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture of the noodle was springy. It came with the standard charsiew and both fried and normal wantons. Personally preferred the normal wanton more as the fried one wasn't as crispy as it should.
Overall, noodle was not bad. Good supper spot if you are in Permas area. However, I noticed that all the staff...
