Don't EVER look down on the small, somewhat cramped little space offered to patrons of the shop for if you believe that "Delicious Food transcends time, place, effort and money", then i would ask that you give this place a try - after trying out all others - Din Kee Beef Noodle, Tin and Tin beef noodles, Tangkak Beef noodles. Though the waiters are all foreigners, they are extremely polite, well-mannered and courteous to all customers walking in. The place has one large airconditioner, enough for the narrow, long space of half a shoplot. For one, their prices start from RM13, standard size bowl regardless of you wanting it dry or soupy. They provide very very delectable side condiments - the pink pickled radish, hot seedy dried chilli fried in oil and crunchy peanuts AND the brightly ground chilli with vinegar added instead if garlic/lime. We ordered the standard braised beef meat coarse vermicelli soup and the food came quickly, piping hot. We loved the clear, beefy soup with NO overpowering herbs and spices. The meat portions were generous. We also took the side condiments, helping ourselves twice to the pickled radish, making sure we ate everything to avoid wastage. I almost drank up the whole bowl of soup before remembering i had dessert afterwards 😓 Overall we loved the food and WILL certainly come back to try the dry...
Read moreFirst impression is how this place looked super shady.
But, I'm all here for good food and was not left disappointed.
Bossman (or so i assume) took my order while finishing up a vape puff...the store layout didnt help as a super slim hole in the wall.
I ordered the braised beef noodles soup (RM13).
The broth was flavourful enough that nothing needed to be added. I love the coriander which was generously placed in the broth, ever neutralising the heavy taste of the broth, but both were working well together providing a really unique taste.
The beef meat chunks were so tender oh gosh. For RM13 I think the portion is fair, but there are affordable options to add on meats/other cuts so feel free to do that.
They also had a small condiment section - i went for the red chilli and preserved radish. The preserved radish was just a playful addition, the chilli packed a sourish punch which went very well with the meat. But to be honest the whole thing was already perfect it just felt I could do with or without.
Overall, a perfect experience for beef noodles soup. A bit of an awkward distance from KSL, but honestly it is so worth the travel for one craving...
Read moreSaved this place for quite some time as well. Happen to pass by Taman Sentosa and decided to come this noodle place to have my meal. I reached the place in the late afternoon and surprised to find the place packed. Their signature would be their braised beef noodle which is the first item on the menu. Apart from that, they also have various type of noodle that come with different ingredient. The price starts from $MYR13 onwards. There are 7 types of carbs to choose from.
I didn't had to wait long before my food was ready. Noodle was nicely cooked, it still retains the springy texture. Broth was flavorful, can add on the chili to enhance the taste. The braised beef was tender and soft, seems like they have braised it for long hours.
Overall, enjoyed the food. I would definitely be back again...
