now i do consider this quaint little kopitiam an unpolished gem. it has much potential if the husband/wife duo know how to "polish" up their act. Despite food being priced on slightly higher end (mostly Rm13.90 for most items in the menu), they do not see the need to provide the most basic things like serviettes to dine-in customers, toilet rolls in the toilet and hand-washing liquid at the basin. The husband does most of the cooking in the kitchen. I hope they keep it this way instead of delegating the cooking to foreign worker - if and when that happens, I am not going to hesitate to stop patronising the cafe. Though food is really decent but lately due to cost cutting measures, large prawns have been replaced with small prawns and fish cakes and fish balls replaced the pork for the popular "wat tan hor" Hope they come to their senses and do not cut corners anymore. Customers paying Rm 13.90 for a plate of 'wat tan hor' do deserve to be served better ...

Read moreRM 3 breakfast, nasi lemak with egg and sausage. I like the sambal chili sauce prepared by the boss, you can feel their sincerity to serve good tasty food to customers. Try to add on otak-otak or fish fillet, it won't cause you much but can make hour breakfast more delightful.
MUST TRY their Senggarang white coffee, it's typical rengit/senggarang/batu pahat taste, looked light and clear but really KAW and smell fragrant.
They do serve lunch and dinner, chicken rice, noodles, fried rice, Lala mee hoon etc which are tip top delicious in Austin area. Lunch and dinner cost might be higher...
