Opened less than half a year and we will give this one of the highest food recommendations.
We had a variety of dishes here, from lobster, crab, prawn, squid ink spaghetti and more. If u have a fine palate, this is one place you definitely have to go.
Let's dive into the review!
Food: The taste was extraordinary. Well-proportioned and adequate amount for the order. But knowing us, we love slightly more than average so we felt the need to order more. We enjoyed the meal thoroughly even after ordering extra. Yummy is an understatement.
Service: Staff was very very attentive. As what hotel staff does, they maintain that kind of standard that we enjoyed. They even shared with us what we can do and what to expect. We felt extremely good and satisfied at their level of competency.
Atmosphere: Place felt exquisite and unique. With lots of tables around, they had lots of walking space as well. As much as we enjoyed the seating area, we enjoyed the view as well. We came during the sun set and it was quite a pretty sight to be at the restaurant.
An added point, if u are gonna use ur hands to dig in, don't worry, there is a sink to wash the dirt off.
Overall, we will recommend this as one of the top places you need to go to. But do note that it may hurt your pocket slightly. BUT, with the satisfaction that comes from the food, the amount spent seems to be...
Read moreFood served is not cohesive. The taste is appalling. Seafood not fresh and comes cold. We called the waiter and the excuse given was we have to prepare separately therefore it won't be warm. The prawn and squid is overcooked. I needed to leave the premises to eat something else to satisfy my taste bud. Look at the leftovers which we could not tolerate putting into our mouths. This is a statement of the horrible taste. Super disappointed with all the hype. Never had such bad seafood before. Service was bad as the waitress does not even understand the menu and when we asked if some of the menu is similar like the whole platter as some of the dishes are identical. Then she will leave to ask the manager a few times. Generally the pasta chills crab is just Thai chill sauce thickened. The paella is fake as it does not come in a cast iron pan with burnt bits of rice at the bottom of the pan and the over powering saffron just overpowers everything. We left about 30 percent of the paella for the flies to gather around the food. The mussels were cold, rubbery and tasteless as it is not the frozen type. The lobster nothing to shout about except for me wanting to shout at the chef for intending to poison our whole table. We commented in unison "I have never had any seafood leaving us feeling nauseated and miserable" I really feel sorry for...
Read moreReason for giving 4 star overall because the cost. 2 pax cost RM750. Of course anyone were to compare to SG, it's worth it. Pics provided on the dishes we ate. It was one of the best seafood session I ever had. And the two set meals we ordered, couldn't finish so packed back some of it. The lobsters, crab, mussels and oysters were really fresh. You won't experience the sea or frozen smell went eating. The oysters especially were fresh and meaty. Black ink squid spaghetti was the most prominent dish that landed in our mouth. It was cooked in chilli crab based sause. So this is a must if you eating here. It's part of the lunch menu set meal. We tried one lobster cooked in butter and garlic. We almost fainted when we tasted the meat. It was orgasims in our mouth (don't quote me please). And the condiments provided, the various sauces were all tasty and unforgettable experience. Lastly, the staff were pleasant, cheerful and prompt in their service. The dishes were served quick taking it no consideration most of the dishes needed time to prepare. Weekdays are quite so am not sure how are the weekends. Please go and try. It's abt 15mins drive from JB town....
