Hawker Habitat — Restaurant in Johor

This is one of the best eateries I’ve met for a while!!! I love it for the following reasons:

Really really affordable for the decent vibes and food. You can get a meal for RM5.50 here with air-con!!!

Extremely generous: Please refer to the extra-rich curry and cream in the picture attached! It’s less than RM10!

Very cozy and coherent interior design. Everything connects to a nice coherent story and theme, the plants, bricks, pallets. Feels like a good habitat for hawkers.

Very thoughtful! Provides mini cendol for RM2.50, knowing we want sweet stuff but don’t want the guilt that comes with it.

Warung-styled cups and cutleries, it matches the theme so well!

Very speedy. Our food arrived super fast despite the crowd, during lunch hours, the place is almost full.

No pork, No lard. But I can't confirm this cafe provided halal certf or supplier with halal certf. Anyways, this is a very cheap cafe in the city of Johor Bahru.

Very affordable and cozy restaurant. I had a great time and great food. There's wifi provided, laptop area and plain water but this is a self service cafe. Special price for students.

**Sadly, I need to remind you all to please check your cup carefully. On my first day, i received a poor quality cup and I'm not sure if i drink all the "metal" inside the cup. complain to An Indonesian girl staff there, and only received RM1.20 discount. Great response but ok 😅 I hope there's no bad happened to me and i hope staff will careful pick a cup/glass...

Nice cafe in pelangi. The price tag isn’t steep, but the selection is limited. I am personally against barcode menu but it’s is a trend now, and customers can order whenever they are ready. My first order didn’t get thru, despite asking two time, they said the order was in. We waited extra 10 min then placed our order again, and finally the food is served. Service was fast, but the mala dumpling was cold, a big let down. The portion is towards small size, man would find it insufficient lunch portion.
