Faceless noodle, a meat cuisine.. noodle meat.. a faceless cuisine... Meat noodle face, a cuisine...
They're lucky I'm not dyslexic, if not I would go through an aneurysm trying to read their name.
I patronized this establishment on a balmy Tuesday evening, with adventurous thoughts. What was this stall with such an enigmatic name? I had no expectations.
I went there and was astonished that noodlemeat, a cuisine.. did not sell meat. However, since grab was having a surcharge, I decided to give this place a go anyway (if not I would have gotten McDonald's).
I entered their humble shack and flipped open the menu furiously in search of the closest pursuit to meat. I thought.. hmm, what meal could satiate my inner, carnal desires for meat? I slapped the pages back and forth, before landing upon a gem - the golden steak mushroom and something Korean noodle soup.
I screamed my order at the waiter, frustrated at my limitations at this establishment. The waiter was spooked, but pranced over to the kitchen to convey my order. As I waited patiently for my food, I couldn't help but think.. about how sustainable and eco-friendly I was being by not eating an actual cow. Moo.
When my mushroom steak and Korean something noodle soup arrived, I did not expect to open my mouth up to such vegetarian deliciousness. My mind was blown that mock meat could taste so much like the real deal. I gorged the mushroom steak in 6.9 seconds and proceeded to order everything off the menu...
I quietly finished my food.. and bid goodbye.. to meatless noodle, a face cuisine.
4/5 stars because they...
Read moreI recently visited Noodle Face, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by an indifferent staff who seemed more interested in their phones than serving customers. The atmosphere was lackluster, with dim lighting and uncomfortable seating that made it hard to enjoy the meal.
The menu looked promising at first, but the food was a major disappointment. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, lacking any of the flavors I was expecting. I ordered a supposedly spicy dish, but it was bland and underseasoned. It felt like the ingredients were of poor quality, and the presentation was sloppy at best.
To make matters worse, the service was slow. It took an excessive amount of time for our food to arrive, and when we asked for a simple request, like extra napkins, it took forever to get a response. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive throughout the meal.
Overall, Noodle Face failed to deliver on both food and service. With so many great dining options out there, I won’t be returning to this restaurant...
Read moreThe atmosphere and service at Noodle Face is always great. A fully vegetarian establishment that has both indoor and outdoor seating.
Dining here never disappoints, especially for a hearty bowl of soup - however I do feel that their portions (for Western meals) tend to be a little lesser when you choose to order through grab.
The tofu fish roll snack is a must try! Been wanting to try the mushroom cordon bleu, unfortunately it's always sold out or unavailable when I arrive (maybe next time!)
Would 10/10...
