A unique venture and special venue for handcraft coffee, tea and coffee+tea fusion drinks!
Housed in a 120 year old refurbished building at the first floor, the interior is tastily done up to exude the nostalgic old charm of the past (imagine Havana!) and the moment I stepped into the space, there was an immediate sense of relaxation.
Talking to the barista, the Three means Coffee Tea & Life. The concept is to combine the essence of coffee and tea to create the special handcrafted drinks that are original to the Three. For those preferring simplicity, they also offer black and white, and pure tea appreciations. On request, the barista (award winning!) can do the unicorn, seahorse, rabbit latte arts ;) Guests are welcome to sit at the bar counter to interact with the baristas, or in the romantically decorated quiet room, or at the balcony area watching the blue sky/sunsets. Personally I like to sit at counter and watch all the actions :) by the way, my favorite is the Dirty Matcha which is so delicious!
They also have snacks and cakes on the menu. The next door is a space where they sell merchandise, eg the coffee beans that they roast in-house, and also the products by the local artists like the batik style shirts and dresses.
Parking is super convenient right in front of the building (free parking!) and there are plenty of space. Service was attentive as they as actually control the number of crowd so that the ambience remains conducive. Oh ya, I like the music played!
I highly recommend this place. I hope the town of JB continues on its creative journey and see such new experiments - dare to be...
Read moreHad a very good experience here starting from ordering of drinks to the drinks itself and presentation of the drinks when being served.
At most places when asked ‘what’s good here and or what would u recommend’, most staff will causally reply depends on yr preference and stammer or uncomfortable to recommend. But staff here was very ready and confident to give recommendations.
I also noticed the staff here all serve with a smile. Furthermore, when they serve the coffee or tea, it comes in a wooden tray with a small cup of jelly and mixed nuts as well as a small info card. To top it off, the staff will explain the sequence you shd take the coffee then jelly n last the nuts.
All these, the drinks quality, place and service by the staff truly makes the entire experience very awesome! Please keep it up! Highly...
Read moreCoincidentally or as fate would have it, I stumbled into The Three for the second time in a week. The first time was in Muar at Muo Resort and had ordered two of their Chinese Teas. At both outlets, service was impeccable, welcoming and warm. If anything that is already brownie points to any F&B establishments.
The one at Y Space has aesthetically pleasing interior space that makes it feel classy and spacious. Their display shelves for their teas are also well thought out.
While I’m not an expert with coffee or tea, the Regal that I had was divine. A delicious and thoughtful mix of espresso, Dan Con Oolong and Fresh Milk that felt like a celebration for the mouth.
I’d definitely want to revisit when I visit JB again. Keep up the great service and...
