Yara Yara Jb — Restaurant in Johor

It's a quiet little cafe tucked in a small street, surrounded by residences, and consulate. The place is all about the IG vibes, and some solace from the bustle of the city. There's quite a lot of dedicated parking spaces here, and indoor and outdoor seating (plus a water feature right outside. OK, it's just a pipe that the construction crew used earlier and forgot to cap it back yet).

Anyway, I had their matcha latte and their premium chocolate waffles with the chocolate ice cream. It was served with honey syrup and whipped cream. The ice cream was dark chocolate, so quite flavourful, but the waffles, while crispy outside, was lacking in flavour.

On the other hand, the matcha latte was decent, but a bit too watered down, even before the ice melted. Overall, a good place to chill for a while, though the food and drinks are merely decent, bill came to...

Went there yesterday with a friend around 15:30. Not crowded. The place was quiet with good music, and the environment felt nice. We felt comfortable staying there.

I ordered a coconut latte, and my friend got something called the Yara Special, recommended by the staff. Both drinks were pretty good.

We also shared a hojicha cake. The top part was smooth, but the chocolate + cookie base was quite hard. The cake itself was nice, but a bit heavy because of the rich hojicha mousse — definitely better to share.

Staff were friendly and helpful. It was our first time, but everything went smoothly.

Will definitely come again!

A nice, cozy ambient place to hang out with friends and destress.

Staff there are very friendly and I appreciate how they take the time to explain to you the concept of the drinks, you can clearly see the passion and enthusiasm in their craft.

If you aren't sure what to get. You can let them know your taste and they will recommend drinks to suit your preference.

The only con I can think of is that the bar isn't open on weekdays, so plan accordingly. I have only been to the bar twice. Will definitely be...
