兆福楼 Zhao Fu Lou — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

The service here is quite good and all staffs are friendly. However, when it come to food, it’s a real disappointment. I just couldn’t understand how there are so many reviews saying it’s nice, the food here are not even close to the taste of Taiwan. The signature dish of braised pork rice, it’s overly greasy that you can’t even eat it without the help of pickled vege to balance out the greasiness. The fish has very strong fishy smell, either it’s not fresh or it’s frozen fillet. I would possibly come here for drinks, for their good service, but...

Me & my bf always dine in here. I love their service treatment here, very detailed and attentive to my needs and requests from food, beverage & also especially the air-conditional here can be adjust tune down by my simple request which very helpful as I personally get cold easily. very comfortable to dine in here for longer time thus me and my bf always return back to dine in more. 说真的，对于我这个马来西亚人来说，蛮难吃的，而且第一遇到叫菜吃的时候菜一盘一盘慢慢出（我们吃完了一碟菜才上另一盘，大家就坐在那边放空到下一个菜上来为止（？）到后面饭都冷了菜都还没出完是在（？））

今天叫的食物（饺子，土豆丝，葱爆牛肉，千叶豆腐）都吃起来不是很好吃，甚至葱爆牛肉淀粉裹太多真的吃起来有一点恶心（凉掉之后更恶心）

总之就是，是一间吃了一次就不会在回来的店，毕竟同样的价格我在其他地方可以吃的更好

建议： 个人觉得如果厨房小/火炉不够大/厨房人手不够（很多服务员但是上菜真的超级慢）,可以调整一下menu（少一点菜品+可以快速准备/提早做好的菜品），专注做台湾餐品和饮料+甜品+素食（评论区蛮多人提到这个所以可以专注做这个然后做好来）引进蛋糕和台湾食品如凤梨酥。服务员真的可以不用这么多（这么小的空间塞好多人），后厨可以多点人，真的。食物的quality很重要，出餐的速度也很重要（建议菜两，三道同时煮好才同时端上去）真的不好吃而且这个价位还这么难吃我真的很震惊

可以看得出室内装潢很用心但是这么一直难吃的话+出餐这么慢的话，客人不会再回来吃的

And the taste is really not good, I don't understand how they get this rating but it really taste bad(I ordered thousand leaf tofu, stir fry beef with onion, Chinese dumplings, sour and spicy potato. Its just disappointing)
