alsalam ealaykum for those who doesn't know what alsalam ealaykum mean it means PEACE BE UPON YOU which is very common words in pronunciation for any Muslims around the world and they use it when they see anyone passing them or walking around even for strangers.
Very relaxing Magnificent piece of architecture design mosque. It was very hot when I went to visit that place in Ramadn around a month ago where it was the Fasting month for Muslims not even in Malaysia in the world so as I arrived to this place I was inspired of how beautiful it's decorated and ornamented and those beautiful Islamic Characters craft took my eyes for a while When you enter the mosque, you will be surprised by its splendor from the inside when you see the decorated dome you can really feel something calm in yourself as I felt peace that time as I arrived it was prayers time and I was wearing short pants and everyone looking at me a security guy came and handed me a long pants to wear to cover my legs they were very friendly people smiles everywhere the sound of the prayer time is so beautiful goes into the heart I will list down the prayers time but from day to day and month to month it's different but not that big difference only some few minutes from each day
Please when you go to a mousqe don't go wearing short pants it's like disrespecting and be quite.
PLEASE THIS TIMING BELOW IS DIFFERENT OF EVERDAY PRAYERS THERE'S TIME DIFFERENCE OF EVERY DAY WHICH IS BY MINUTES NOT THAT MUCH I AM JUST GIVING AN EXAMPLE OF EVERYDAY PRAYERS.
05:40 morning prayers (Fajr) 07:04 sunrise prayers 13:13 after noon (Duhur) 16:40 sun set (Maghrib) 20:37 evening...
Read moreAlthough a very nice picturesque mosque, I was highly disappointed today after attending Jummah prayer there as a woman. Coming from the UK, very excited to pray my first jummah prayer in Malaysia after hearing so much talk about the strong sense of Islam in this country I thought it would be very accommodating to women and provide suitable facilities - well quite the contradiction. When asked where the women pray, I was ushered to a small (no larger than 2x2 metre) tent in the corner of outside of the mosque which was cramped inside with little prayer mats and coverings on the ground which were put on top of gutters. In front of the tent we could see men putting there shoes there and I had a woman next to me who came all the way from Australia and another from the UK and all of us were quite mortified at what we had to experience. We were sweating in this tiny cramped space outside with no fan and nothing but the sun beaming at us through the tent sheets. I hope and pray that this post will get this mosque to seriously reconsider the space for women for Jummah as I know it is not compulsory but the Prophet pbuh said how if women can, they should go to the mosque for it is good for them. Women are bringing up the future generations and so if they don't form a close relationship with mosques what makes you think the future generation will!! Please sort this inequality asap. Many thanks, a sister...
Read moreI visited Al Bukhary Mosque, conveniently located opposite the Hang Tuah Fire Station and near the Hang Tuah LRT station. The mosque’s elegant white walls and blue roof immediately caught my eye, reflecting a blend of traditional and modern Islamic architecture.
Inside, the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. The prayer hall is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for worshippers. The mosque also offers facilities such as a multipurpose hall, management office, VIP lounge, and clean ablution areas, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors.
One aspect that stood out to me was the mosque’s accessibility. It’s easily reachable via public transportation, and the surrounding area is well-kept, adding to the overall tranquility of the location. Whether you’re a local or a traveler seeking a moment of reflection, Al Bukhary Mosque offers a serene retreat amidst the city’s hustle and bustle.
I highly recommend a visit to this mosque, not only for its architectural beauty but also for the sense of...
