The food was fine. However, the way the seating arrangement was poorly handled. I contacted them a day earlier to make a last-minute reservation and they confirmed it so I proceeded.

When we arrived on time, were told that the next available table would be ours but we waited 30 minutes. It turned out the "reservation" was actually just a priority spot on the walk in waiting list, not a guaranteed table. Other groups were seated before us due to table size differences. Serving time was also slow, so by the time we got to eat was about an hour later with "reservation".

Lastly, there was a note on table stating we could get free Douhua by liking their IG and Facebook. While we were scanning the code, a lady noticed what we were doing and whether we had written a review, she asked to take a look. We had to explain few times that the card only mentioned liking the pages, not reviews. She looked a bit speechless but eventually asked a staff to serve the dessert. She gave us four portions instead of the three we requested. Perhaps to leave a better impression, but we returned the extra one anyway. Before we left, she still reminded us to leave a review.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m really disappointed with the way things were handled during my recent visit, especially as a regular here.

We were told there was an electrical issue and asked to wait, fine we agreed.

After we noticed that the table who arrived at the same time as us had already received their food, I approached the waiter, not once, but twice to double-check our order. Each time, I was just told to “wait, wait, and wait.” We found out that they were allowed to place order manually but we were never given that option.As we genuinely thought there was still a problem in the kitchen, so we stayed patient.

We were seated outdoors, and what made it even more ridiculous was that after an hour when I walked to the cashier for the third times to check on our food, I saw that even customers who came AFTER US were already eating. If there really was a kitchen issue, how were their meals served before ours?

Tried at Pudu outlet twice, so I know it's delish. This new store got promo RM 9.90 instead of RM 39.90. Such a good deal, how could I missed it. Sour vege fish pot, generous fish portion, tasty & flavorful. Stir fried pork was my first time trying. They stir fried tiny meat slice fried till crispy, stir with capsicum, onion, chilli, peppercorn, the amount of sauce they used it was just nice to my taste, not overly salty. Really like this dish, so good to go with white rice. Dining experience is good, spacious table, nice decorations, clean toilet. You may need to park at complex parking, 3 mins walking. Will return here for other dishes even Pudu outlet is nearer to me.

2nd visit Stir-fry spicy beef was delicious, full of chilli gives much flavors into the dish. If really need to comment, perhaps it stir fried slightly longer than it should be.
