Arrived about 12.35pm on a weekday for lunch. While I appreciate their proactive step of place-your-orders-while-waiting-to-be-seated, it was obvious they couldn't handle the lunch crowd here. Waiting in line was fine, about 10 mins. After being seated, our Meat Roll side dish was served after 15 mins... cold. We gobbled those up anyway waiting for utensils. Our noodles took another horrendous 25 - 30 mins, and I had to go over and get our utensils from a server. Service was really out of the window. Many servers, all very busy. Someone really needs to review and improve the service system. Thankfully, my Tomato Soup Noodles was delicious... the only reason this rating gets 2 stars. My colleague's Superior Soup Noodle tasted no where near good, let alone superior. Each bowl gets 2 pieces of batavia as vegetables, add-on veggies gets you some chopped cabbage. Oh, I must say the hot Sour Plum drink was quite good though. All-in-all, from arrival till our noodles reached our table, 50 - 60 mins. I mean, this is Bangsar South. You should know that you're serving the working crowd and lunch service needs to be efficient. Otherwise, you have no business being in this area where lunches on weekdays give dining operators here the highest table turnovers in that few hours. Only half of the outer dining section is open (the other half was closed with only tables without chairs) which is a good thing too otherwise there will be more frustration for both diners & servers. This is my 1st experience with Home Noodle. I was told they've other branches too. Would I go again to this or any other of their branches?......
Read moreWhenever I feel like giving this place a try again in the hopes it has improved, I am disappointed further. Now it is down to 1 star left. So I won't be dining here anymore. Had the tomato soup set meal. It was horrible. The portion is small but the bowl is huge. The tomato soup is not flavourful. Tastes like they added water to whatever balance they have left for lunch. The 3 fish paste were fishy and smelly. I had a bite and just couldn't continue. 3 triangles of luncheon meat, 1 fuchuk, 1 drink. All this for RM23 I think. Perhaps I'm one of the few who thinks this place is horrible. It is packed for lunch and have quite a number of patrons for dinner. The chilli sambal used to be very good. Now, it is quite pathetic.

Ordered the tomyum with HOME balls (their specialty minced pork balls). While the soup base is good, the balls were horrible. Downright pathetic. It’s smaller than quail egg and very soft. It disintegrates when you pick it up with your chopsticks. Like the texture of soft tofu and I’m not exaggerating. Really bad. Just go there and order the pork balls or bursting balls that are not...
Read moreQuality has dropped so much that it does not worth a visit anymore. Rm21.8 for a sad bowl of noodle. Stay away from this restaurant
20 min wait during non peak hour in the evening. When I visited the restaurant, it was less than 3 table ,but it took 20min for just a bowl of noodle. Can't imagine if it is lunch hour
When the noodle is finally served, to my disappointment that the noodle is overcooked making it too soft, disintegrated, look like a leftover food. The noodle was so soft that broken down into short pieces when taken up using chopsticks.
Noodle portion is so less, even the cabbage is more than the noodle, together with a few pieces of sad looking frozen food fish cake and pork ball
When feedback to waiter , all they said was 'oh you ordered is vermicelli, so it's like that, I will feedback to kitchen' and walked away just like that.
Rm21.80 for that bowl of sad looking ,messy ,poor quality noodle. Totally not worth....
