Dear Chagee Person in Charge at The Sphere Bangsar Branch,

I visited your shop at 19:53 today with the intention to place an order. However, your cashier, a Malay male staff member, informed me that it was “tak boleh” due to a system issue. I wasn’t clear about what he meant, as his response lacked energy and seemed dismissive. He kept repeating “tak boleh” without further explanation. I then asked if I could pay in cash with the exact amount and suggested that he could key in the order once the system was back up, but he continued to respond with just “tak boleh.”

1.I understand that the system was down. 2.He mentioned that the system had been down since the afternoon, but I noticed that the female staff member behind him was still preparing two cups of milk tea. This made me confused about the situation? 3.If the system had been down since the afternoon, wouldn’t it be better to put up a notice at the counter to inform customers, rather than telling them one by one? You could also consider placing a caution tape or barrier in front of the counter to prevent customers from approaching and asking.

What bothered me the most was the attitude of the male...

Ordered the signature Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea twice from here via delivery app - First time the taste was completely off, it tasted so bland without the usual fragrance of tea, but rather just milk. I have ordered this same item more than 10 times from all the different branches but never have I tasted it to be tasteless like this.

And then I was like alright, it was the 2nd day after opening, the staffs probably need more practices, so today I ordered again.

Ordered Hot TGY Milk Tea, and gotten a Cold one. It's so ironic when the word 'HOT' is so visible on the giant receipt attached on the plastic bag. Reading some of the Foodpanda reviews, it does seem like they are making mistakes quite frequently with their delivery orders.

Nonetheless, even so, I will still order from them eventually since it's just so close to where I live. Hopefully they will...

I've noticed the way the glutinous green milk tea is made has changed. Previously this branch blended/crushed the ice to give the whole drink a nice frothy texture. This time it's just regular ice mixed in with the drink, a very ordinary drink. Either this is a change from Chagee management or the workflow is not properly followed in the branch. Either way I felt my money was not worth the product that I got today.
