Truly disappointed to the food and drinks here. I will suggest the higher management would take a look on the food inside the kitchen. Ordered nasi lemak rendang, seafood laksa, and also cucuk udang. I was seriously shocked when the seafood laksa is served. I never seen laksa is served with processed fishball and processed prawn in this price range. Totally unappetising. The processed prawn is not even cook with the soup and it had the taste of plain water. I rather you to serve sotong rendam and also white prawn. As for the nasi lemak rendang, the rice of the nasi lemak is too soft and the texture is just like a kuih, and please don't heat the rendang chicken with microwave to save your time. Just throw away the microwave. The cucuk udang is even worst, double fried until the bawang is overly fried, please don't serve leftover food, your customer will know it. Lastly, the hainan tea is not even worth of the price, kindly improve your recipe on the drinks too. The only thing I enjoy is just the music

Came here in the morning. Location is very unsuspicious. This outlet is called central kitchen because this is the base where most of the rempah / spice paste is made. It was spruced up to also offer dining in experience. Decoration is rustic with lotsa antique exhibits. The owner was a very pleasant chap who was very friendly. We got extra attention because there were no other customers at that point of time. The laksa was well balanced. It is rich enough. However, some malacca restaurants do have a more lemak laksa (if that’s your thing). We also tried the nasi lemak. The fried chicken was freshly fried and was accompanied by a special turmeric paste which was unique. They have rendang too, which I found to be a bit watered down. If you need to choose one, go for the fried chicken. Beverages were fantastic. Rich and definitely packs a punch. There are not too many items on the menu to choose from, so if you are looking to try various nyonya dishes, your mileage may be limited.

Type: Concept Cafe Signature: Nyonya Laksa & Nasi Lemak This Concept Cafe is managed by the same guys @ Limapulo Nyonya.. So expect an overload of Nyonya stuffs. First impression is their rustic and retro feel upon entering the Cafe, not forgetting also the friendly owner's welcoming smile. An excellent place to hangout and chill since they serve really good coffee (4 🌟). Also.. The customer service is excellent and one of the best. We tried the Signature Nyonya Laksa (4 🌟) which Btw is very much different from the usual Assam Laksa. The bihun and mee mix was nicely blended with the thick Laksa soup. We also tried their nasi lemak with fried chicken (4 🌟) and also their rendang chicken (3.5 🌟) which is nice but not the best. That said... Their homemade Nyonya Spicy Sauce helped greatly in boosting up the flavour. Taste Rating 7/10 Ambience Rating 10/10 Service Rating 10/10 Value Rating 8/10
