I normally go to Kepong branch since i saw an outlet here to try out the food. It have disappointments on First, here no serve filter water and I ask the waiters n waitresses just answer no water serve only mineral n the menu list. Second. the soup like water add seaweed. This how your advertising to guest that you serve free soup? I think the road side chap fan serve better free soup. Third, the place I usually go when I request to heat up the food, it will come hot not even warm but this outlet in Sri petaling not even heat up n just do some action that going to kitchen n bring up tell me is heat up. I lazy wanted to argue n it just spoil my mood of having a great meal. This outlet is really a no no for my recommendations. Pls have a good training for your staff so that your service can be improved and also your kitchen side. If can serve a better soup better don serve or not enough manpower to heat up the food, just stated this outlet not implemented this service so the guest know it. Dissatisfied n disappointed for this outlet.

Below 2nd Street Bundle Shop. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I got excited seeeing all the different dishes and got carried away putting many in my tray. Each dish cost separately/different. Put dish that you like in tray and pay at cashier. Free water and soup beside the counter. White Rice (rm2). White Porridge (rm2). Egg Minced Meat (rm4); need to eat with rice/porridge, too salty on its own. Mapo Tofu (rm4); too much oil. Sichuan Fragrant Chicken (rm8); so many dried chilies and so little meat, might as well call the dish Sichuan Fragrant Dried Chillies. Steamed Fish (rm6); no idea what fish but its lam piat piat. Sambal Sotong (rm10); yummy. Cabbage (rm6); slight mala taste, i find it so so. Herbal Egg (rm2); herbal egg sauce goes very well with porridge, egg itself is too salty. Taste of dishes are influenced by China. I find taste lacking compared to our local cooking but still good especially when you are hungry late night and i find their concept interesting.

First time trying it and it's not for me. Not that the food is bad but the price vs value and food quality does not make sense. Here's why, I choose the familiar dishes like the steamed egg and steamed minced meat. Both of it lacked flavour and portion was rather small. For me it's bland and very safe. Next 3 dishes is the Sze Chuan styled Fish, Eggplant and Shredded Potato. All these dishes were spicy and has that fiery "Mala" oil taste. Interesting, probably it's me used to our Malaysian style cooking, expecting full of complexed flavours. The Fried Rice too was bland, you are better off with the White Rice. The complimentary soup hardly had any taste, just salt and probably msg. The bill came up to RM50 for 2 persons. If you are into Sze Chuan/China style dishes, you may give a try but it comes at a price.
