Update 24 June 2023: Came back here multiple times since the last review but my last experience left a sour taste in my mouth. The place has been newly renovated recently where the kitchen and counter was moved the front end of the shop. Airier and spacious dining space. As usual will order the tomyam beehoon and since it's weekend, decided to try one of their pies and ordered beef goulash. Halfway through eating the pie only realised it was chicken instead of beef but that's okay. I reminded the waitress who took our order that I was mistakenly served chicken instead of beef pie and told her to take note in their order system as the beef pie cost more. The server lady went to the counter and told this to the lady manning the counter, and she insisted that we show the pie on our plate for verification, giving the expression that it's impossible for her to make that mistake. After it was verified that they did served wrongly from what was ordered, she didn't look apologetic at all. Luckily I took photos of the half eaten pie to show that it is chicken indeed - imagined if I had finished the pie and told her later. She would've insisted she served us beef pie and probably would've asked us to pay up. The elder lady owner who used to manned this place is much friendlier than this new lady behind the counter. Would probably reduce the frequency of my visits in the future after this unpleasant encounter. How I miss the good old days when the aunty owner was such a friendly and joyful persona, treating customers with respect & warmth. Previous review: Well I haven't tried the pastry yet which has received rave reviews but I did get the chance to taste their weekend special roasted chicken with rosemary and thyme. And it was marvellous! Big portion and well marinated serviced together with generous amount of roasted potato and veggies. Their freshly baked banana cake is heavenly. Looking forward to try the croissants next

Came for the first time for breakfast and ordered :- a) Pancake with butter jam and honey @ RM10 - passable but have gotta be the thinnest pancake I ever had! b) Spaghetti Bolognaise chicken @ RM14 - pasta not al dente. bolognaise chicken lacked flavor. c) Tuna egg toast @ RM10 - ok d) Sliced turkey toast @ RM9 - can hardly feel the presence of the sliced turkey. Each of the above c/w the choice of coffee or tea. No evaporated milk only condensed milk is provided coz KOPI served is not the western kind. Wanted to order nasi lemak with chicken rendang @RM13 but rendang not ready yet. Saw the next table ordered nasi lemak with curry chicken, also @ RM13 and considered myself lucky (rendang not ready) as the serving is pathetically small. Service is commendable from the Chinese girl. Courteous and with a smile. Price does not justify for the quality and quantity of food served. Once is enough!

We were here for a BD lunch and since its a weekend, parking would be wash here unlike weekdays. We had the General Tso Chicken rice and truthfully, i cant discern the taste. Chicken is a boneless drumstick somewhat fried, not spicy at all. We also had the giant croissant 🥐 grilled chicken, it’s huge but the skin is a bit flaky. Plenty of chicken bits. The best is the mushroom soup which is really good. However the drinks are poor. There is no lemon taste in ice lemon tea and the teh ais is worse than found at a food court. Service is “good” as the server kept asking us when we will be ready to order 🤪 there is a lot on the menu which needs time to digest moreso when we were first timer. The lunch didn’t costs too much. Parking here is private and you need to pay even on PH / weekends. 👎🏻

My visit to this cafe couples weeks ago was abit disappointing. I would like to feedback your service for improvements Put tissue box on every table Knowing we ordered half boiled egg, please bring along soya sauce and white pepper to the table Please do not expect your customers to know your rules which is take and put back the cutleries, soya sauce, condense milk, tissue box from/to the general table at the back of your cafe. The self service mentioned in no 3 causes us so much inconvenience to walk up and down, especially when you have younger kids and seniors When your staff/boss reminding customer to put back to the general table, please say 'I am sorry, can you put it back please as is for sharing' instead 'this is for sharing, please put back'. Although you spoke to us softly but we seriously felt offended as it...
