Was there during lunch time and restaurant was quite busy. Found a place to sit and a lady came over to take our order. Ordered wantan mee, 1/2 a chicken, roasted pork and woo Kok.
Wantan mee - ok-ish .. would be better if it’s hotter.
Chicken rice - cheap rice as it’s clumpy, nothing to shout about.
Roasted chicken - Chicken is juicy and succulent but too salty, served with crispy garlic oil.
Roasted pork - I personally prefer this over the chicken.
Woo kok - this is a disappointment! Frankly speaking, the worst I’ve had. I can literally taste the thousand year old oil! It’s bitter and too much dough, can hardly taste yam.
Cleanliness could be better, floor was oily and table sticky. Very unpleasant. Pricing was ok though. RM50 for all of the above. You pay when the food is served. 😁
Parking is a NIGHTMARE! Even the...

My husband bought chicken rice today (chicken and char siew). He told the fella there to give fresh char siew (this people good at giving not fresh char siew to Indians. Yes, because both my husband and I experienced it on different occasions). The man said okay and he took char siew from a bowl under instead of from the tray on top. My husband again told the fella put the fresh one and the fella replied the one from the bowl is fresh.
Came back home, when I wanted to eat, the meat was dry and it doesn’t have that sweet chair siew taste. I clearly know how a fresh char siew would look like and taste. Even the chicken they did not cut small. Look at the blocks of meat they gave. This place is total disappointment.
By the way, even their siew bao is not fresh some times. Better find other place to...
Read moreWithout fail, my parent and I would run out of ideas on where to eat for lunch; and this is where we always go to eat and/or take away. They have a reasonable amount of dishes for their economical rice but what stands out among the rest would be a clay pot bowl filled with Chicken Curry, one of their highlight. Most of the time we would grab a portion along with their chicken rice set, while not unique, it has a balance of tastes.
Price for the plate range for RM5.50 - RM10 per dish as I am currently writing, but then again, the price is worth for it's portion. During CNY, they would also sell whole roast duck, chicken and pork for request. The owner have been doing it for a long while and are gracious to provide your needs, somethings I rarely see.
Feel free to drop by and say hello to the restaurant owner and order...
