Kopitiam has over 15-20 stalls offering Hokkien Mee, White Curry, Western, Fish Head Noodle, Hakka Noodle, Pork Noodle, Sam Kan Chong Noodle, Pan Mee, Char Kuey Teow, etc. Most stalls will close by 1.30pm.

Atmosphere: 3.25🌟 Quite a bit of seats inside but likely to be full.

Service: 3.75🌟

Food: Mix Rice Chicken 3.5🌟, Veg 3.25,🌟, Egg 3.25🌟 No rice take away (container looks a bit bigger). Chicken is sweet and slightly sour, kinda nice. The veg is decent while the egg can be good except don't like the veg added into it. Not sure if it's onion or something, doesn't quite match or accentuate the egg flavor. Pricing wise I feel it's on the cheaper side.

Food: Smelly Beans/Petai 2.5🌟, Egg 3.25🌟, Brinjal 3.25🌟 Petai is way undercooked but the mince pork meat is quite good. Rm8 is cheap

Food: Pan Mee (Dry) 3.75🌟 Noodle 3.75🌟, Sauce 3.5🌟, Broth 3.5🌟, Ingredients 3.75🌟, Chili 3.75🌟 Love the thick noodle texture which is hard, chewy and thick (if only its curvy/QQ too). The sauce and broth is also good. I really love the chili sauce which is balanced between sour and spicy. Big bowl of soup filled with veggies and even minced meat (on top of the ones in the dry noodle). The anchovies are very crunchy but salty so you will need to eat them together with the noodles or veggies. Priced at Rm 9

Food: Mee Jawa 3.75🌟 Surprisingly tasty with a balanced nice flavor of the sauce (sweet) which matches well with the fresh lime. Comes with crispy crackers, half egg, half Fishball, some veggies, steam potatoes, squid and fried onions. Priced at Rm 9

Food: White Curry 3.5🌟 It's quite flavorful and nice. Ordered without clams and pork blood. Priced at Rm 9

Food: Pork Noodle 3.5🌟 Finally able to eat it as it sold out by 12 noon. Quite good actually the broth and good amount of ingredients. Priced at Rm 9

Drinks: Kopi (Ice) 3.5🌟 Take away cup less sweet. Not very bitter but can taste the coffee flavor and it comes with slight pleasant sourness. Priced at Rm 3.70

Food: Mix Grill 3.5🌟 Chicken 3.5🌟, Pork 2.75🌟, Pepper 3.5🌟, Mushroom 3.25🌟 Pork (pepper sauce) and Chicken (mushroom sauce). Mushroom sauce flavor decently strong while pepper sauce is not very spicy and have an interesting mix to it. Pork Chop is overcooked and the chicken is just nice but the skin isn't crispy though. There's a bit of plain steam veg on the sides as well. Priced at Rm 17.90

Food: Keto One 3.5🌟 Normal sausages with egg and broccoli but today ran out and replaced with cucumber. Sausage is tasty and not the usual cheap ones. The scrambled egg is cooked nicely and has a heavy fragrance (of butter I think). Priced at Rm 7.90 (normally 8.90).

Food: Hakka Mee 3.5🌟 Portion is also kind of small but noodle is not bad. The Cha Yuk is quite nice and flavorful. Priced at Rm 10.

Food: La Mien (Soup) 3.5🌟 Noodle 3.75🌟, Broth 3.5🌟, Ingredients 3.5🌟 I like the noodles, texture is good and hard (and somewhat chewy too). It does feels a bit like Thin Pan Mee. The broth feels very nice too but. Plenty of ingredients including sliced mushrooms, fish paste (small), Fu Zuk, Minced Pork and veggies. Priced at Rm 9 is good deal.

Food: Beef Brisket Wan Tan Mee 3.25🌟 The noodle seems self made (different) has a nice curly texture and quite hard just that it's sort of more stick together. The sauce is so so and has beef meat and stomach cut into small pieces. Priced at Rm 11

Food: Fish Paste Noodle 3.25🌟 The portion is small and the noodles are too soft even though they went for the thick version. The broth is not bad, the fish paste is decent and the chili paste is quite good. Priced at Rm 14

Food: Char Kuey Teow 3.25🌟 Kuey Teow Mee without cockles and small spicy. It still comes with cockles (smallest cockles I've seen). Texture wise it seems to be slightly on the soft side for the kuew teow. It does have some nice charred taste though. Priced at Rm 9

Drinks: Chinese Tea (Cold) Priced at Rm 0.80...

Good variety and quality of stall:

Mixed rice .. 4 Star Good variety and taste is ok, price is reasonable.

Penang white Curry & Jawa Mee .. 4 Star Reasonable price for the amount of ingredients they have. Soup and chili is great. Must try!

Fish head noodles .. 4 Star

Kolo mee (price increased) .. 3.5 Star

Chee Cheong Fun ... 3.5 Star

Char Koey Teow (MYR8.50) .. 4 Star The Char Koey Teow here is tasty. Good wok hei. But unfortunately, no chinese sausage (but I am good without it).

Pork Noodles .. 4 Star. Nice and loads of ingredients.

Pork Ball Noodles .. 1 Star. Tried this stall for 4 times and that's it. On two occasions, I found remains of steel brushes in the bowl!

Kampar Fish Ball Noodles .. 1 Star. Uncle Roger big friend, loads of MSG

Wan Tan Mee .. 4 Star.

Will upload more pics as an update.

So what causes the total Star rating to drop ? Its the coffeeshop.

Cleanliness MUST be improved. NO Smoking MUST be enforced Pets MUST NOT be allowed. Price had shot up very recently (some during CNY) Their staff are very 'visual selective'. They don't bother to clean the table, despite you waiving for their attention. You are invisible to them. So it's a challenge to get their attention to clean the table and to order a drink. Even at low peak hours!

It appears that the owner will tick off the vendors, for helping their client to call for table to be clean!

Food wise is ok but the coffeeshop/drink staff attitude...

Tuck Tuck Tei is one of those classic kopitiam spots that locals swear by — and once you’ve tried it, you’ll get why! The place is buzzing with choices, from noodles to rice dishes, and everything’s super affordable.

One dish you have to try is the Fish Head Noodles — creamy, tangy soup with crispy fish head pieces and a generous helping of noodles.

Visit last week try their Loh Yee Mee not bad.Savoury, hot and nice pair with yee mee.

It’s comforting, flavorful, and perfect for rainy days or when you just want something hearty.

One thing to note though — the food service is fast, but the waiters don’t seem too keen on serving drinks. You might need to ask a couple of times or just grab it yourself if it’s self-service. Not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind.

Still, for the price and the food quality, it’s worth it (Range per meal RM9.50-RM20).

Great for casual meals and...
