This place definitely brings me memories in Bangkok๐น๐ญ Boss here is super friendly and humble, keep apologize as squid, stingray and papaya salad were sold out during my visit and ask us about the dining experience & food taste. Mookata - Tasty pork bone soup, basic ingredients but good portion, credit to the marinated meat and handmade meatballs ๐ Pork skewers - Meat is tender & juicy, more towards sweet side ๐ Basil pork rice - Generous amount of minced pork and egg cooked perfectly, would prefer more basil please! ๐ Tom yum mama - Thick broth, mild ๐ถ๏ธ, GENEROUS ingredients! Menu only have selection of bee hoon/glass noodle but can actually order maggi ๐ Pad Thai - Slightly sweet, prawns can be fresher ๐ Claypot glass noodles and prawns - Slightly salty, prawns can be fresher ๐ Thai milk tea - Prefer heavier tea taste ๐ Coconut ice cream - Three scoop of ice cream with nut garnish but okaylah given the price ๐
A bit sad can't taste the grilled squid & stingray this time, will visit again ๐คค

ย ย ย Read moreLETS GOOOOOO! Honestly I love the food here. It reminded us of when we were in Thailand. The dining location and the grilled stick skewers in front of us just really transported us to Bangkok!
The food- Every dishes that we ordered tasted so authentic we ordered seconds.
Pad Thai: flavourful and stir fried just nicely. The sweetness and saltiness of this dish balance pretty well.
Mango and papaya salad: fresh, appetising and crunchy in every bite. Though between the two, I prefer the papaya over the mango.
Seafood Tomyam soup: super creamy and flavourful, spice level just nice. Though I donโt rly like having fish balls in the soup, overall still tasty.
Grilled cockles: tasty with the sauce, although they were definitely way overcooked and we wished that we could have it more juicy and raw.
Even though we came on a rainy day, they have tents set up so donโt worry about that. Itโs does get quite hot tho but hey, itโs called dining on the street for a reason.
Overall, a really authentic place for Thai food. Will definitely revisit to try...
ย ย ย Read moreI ordered the Pad-kra-pow, which is a stir-fry dish with Thai basil and rice. I was particularly happy that they used real Thai basil, as it's rare to find that in many Thai restaurants around here which made the dish taste truly authentic.
However, I must say that it was a bit milder than I expected. Pad-kra-pow is typically a spicy dish, so I would have preferred a little more heat.
The other dishes I tried, like the Moo-ma-now or grilled pork neck, were also very tasty and had a genuine Thai flavor. However, I did notice that the seafood sauces weren't quite right. In Thailand, we love to dip our food in delicious seafood sauces, so I think it would be better if they used traditional Thai-style ones.
One thing that really surprised me was how affordable the food was. Considering the generous portions and the delicious flavors, it felt like a truly good deal.
Overall, I was very impressed with the value for money. The delicious food, large portions, and affordable prices made it a truly satisfying meal .
