Bbq Golmok Segambut — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This Golmok Korean BBQ restaurant located at the less busy street of segambut.

Service is good. The foreign workers here are very attentive and will prepare umbrella when it's rain to cover you from getting wet. They also serves well and proactively ask you for refill and cooking service.

Varieties of small side dishes that are self service and can refill until you're satisfied. Some of the small dishes are delicious, but some are just average. The seaweed soup is tasty and umami.

The BBQ stove is prepared with charcoal burning to ensure evenly distributed heat, beware of your legs as the bottom of the table can be hot and may cause heat injury. Smokes are well contained with their smoke ventilation hood.

Ordered set 5 meat for 2 pax, which consist of pork belly, pork ribs and kimchi jigae. The kimchi soup is good and the sourness is just right, the taste is easy to enjoy. Pork belly is well cooked by the staffs, however i find it a little thick in thickness for it to grill to have the right crisp. The pork ribs cut is right in the thickness for it to have a tender juicy cube texture, it is also well marinated.

Price is moderately price for a korean bbq franchise. A good spot in segambut/ Jalan ipoh area to enjoy korean food as there are not many...

We recently tried a Korean BBQ restaurant for the first time. The restaurant was nice and cool, which was a relief on a hot day. We ordered a set meal that included pork belly, marinated pork neck, and kimchi stew.

The portions were generous, but the meat was a bit tough to chew. The kimchi stew was delicious, though. They also served a variety of side dishes, some of which were tasty but a bit oily.

Unfortunately, the staff didn't provide much assistance with the BBQ experience. We were left to cook the meat ourselves, which was a bit challenging for first-timers. Overall, the food was good, but the service could have been better.

There's a little challenging to find car park in the afternoon but you can simply get a car parking in...

4 of us ordered Set 5 (which contains 2 pax pork belly, pork rib and kimchi soup), seafood pancake, rice ball and 1 pot of green tea. Total amounting to RM160, which I think the price is quite reasonable. Four of us are very very full!

The taste of the food is not the best but still ok. Kimchi soup and pork belly are very delicious.

Thumbs up to the free buffet bar - More than 10 type of side dishes. Besides, free tea and soup available there also. So worth it!!!! And the kimchi soup ordered in Set 5 can be refill one time.

The staff is very friendly and the service is good.
