Beutea @ Sri Petaling — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Very cosy new Beutea outlet. Teas are good, quite on par with the other outlets. If you're trying Beutea for the first time, you might want to try out something from their range of fruit teas. My personal favourites are Yunnan Oolong, Da Hong Pao and the Matcha Jasmine Milk Tea. If you have a sweet tooth, their fruit teas are nice too. Grapefruit Tea and Avocado Smoothie is pretty good. Can ask for slight sugar and lessen the white balls if prefer less sweet for the drinks (sweetness level for fruit teas definitely taste higher than milk teas).

The outlet is very nicely spacious with ample of space indoors and partially outdoors. They have this really cute narrow pathway sectioning both parts. Great when you're looking for a place to just chat and chill with a sizable group of friends. Nice planter box detail in the center is helping the large indoor space to feel nicely partitioned and less noisy when the area is more crowded.

Some seating-to-table height are a little awkward with the tables being a tad too high. But the chairs are all large and comfortable. Just colour matching can be a bit better.

Parking in this area is usually almost impossible but it's a good thing that there is a paid parking lot right on the opposite. Do take note that the parking lot can be incredibly difficult to get out of during peak hours like weekend after dinner hours. Double parking might be alright for a short time.

One of the early opening cashier staff is actually a very endearing and cute person but she is having a bit of difficulty with answering slightly more elaborate questions in English (but she was enthusiastically trying while keeping a cheerfulness to her so I appreciate that). Recently there is also a new male staff that could be either Malay, East Malaysian or foreign worker? But he was very very polite at the order collection counter. It was my first time being pointed towards the tissues, chilli sachets and glove packs 😂 I am usually terrible with spontaneous observation so I never even realised there was a place to get gloves from at the counter 😂...

My first experience w. Beutea Sri Petaling and sadly to say this will be my last visit. It was my first time here and I had an unpleasant customer experience in this branch.

I ordered a flavour from the "top 5 picks tea series" poster presented in front of the counter and the grape tea caught my attention, there were 2 available choices in the poster name like these: i) jasmine grape tea, and ii) fresh grape tea.

In my mind I was thinking the second choice was their default flavour so I picked the fresh grape tea without knowing that I actually need to choose between 2 tea base option (jasmine/oolong) at the moment.

With the misleading poster, I was told that jasmine tea was sold out and I was confused because I dint go for the first choice during my order. There were 2 tearista initially dint even bother to explain the context here (that the fresh fruit tea are made from 2 choices of tea base) and were expecting me to understand the context.

So the tearista rudely responded when I further clarified my order with them. In the end we spent a few minutes to finally understand the context here, with the tearista throwing her tantrum explaining and I felt I got scolded out of nowhere as I did not request any absurd or insane request at all. In the end I explained to her this was my first time trying Beautea and asked her to be patient w. me in a neutral tone.

I do understand people feel annoyed sometime, but I do agree that practising professionalism and good communication skills (to avoid misunderstanding) in customer service line is DULY IMPORTANT. If you couldn't uphold the role, at least be a...

Bad really bad brought a oolong milk tea with no taste , after buying from so many beutea this is the worst . Taste like plain water added cream 🤢

Dont waste your money here go for other beutea And worst i went back to change another cup at 9:40pm and they told me to come back tomorrow 🤔 i wish i got the time
