I am writing this review with great disappointment and frustration following my recent booking and dining experience at your establishment. The rude behavior displayed by your staff not only ruined my special occasion but also ensured that I will never set foot in your restaurant again.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a level of disrespect and impoliteness that is utterly unacceptable in any dining establishment. The staff’s behavior towards me was not only discourteous but also outright offensive. It was as if they had no interest in providing a positive experience for the customers.

During my conversation, I attempted to address my concerns with a member of the waitstaff called Lydia but the response I received was dismissive and condescending. It was clear that my feedback was neither valued nor taken seriously.

She even throw her tantrums at me by placing her stuffs at loud noise and showing her unhappiness to help.

I requested to speak to the manager but was told Terrence the manager was not around. I also requested the manager to give me a callback but till now no one responded.

In light of the appalling treatment I received, I decided to leave the restaurant without having my meal. It was a decision I made with a heavy heart, as I had been looking forward to dining at El Cerdo Ttdi. However, the behavior of your staff left me with no other choice.

I am writing this review not as an isolated incident but as a reflection of the overall atmosphere and attitude I encountered during my visit. It deeply saddens me that a restaurant with potential, such as yours, allows its staff to drive away customers through rudeness and disrespect.

I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the management of El Cerdo Ttdi. If you wish to salvage your restaurant’s reputation and attract loyal customers, it is imperative that immediate action is taken to address the issues with your staff’s behavior.

Regrettably, I will never dine at El Cerdo Ttdi again, and I cannot recommend it to others until significant improvements are made in the way customers...

I went for dinner once many years at the one in Changkat, and I wasn’t impressed at all about the ribs.

I decided to try this one in my neighbor cause I didn’t feel like driving.

Not sure why we waited quite a long time for the shrimps wrapped in bacon, but they were good. I think they grill them, which drys out the bacon and the shrimp. While it comes with mayo to dip, I would have probably used Japanese mayo or just broil them with a bit of garlic and oil to retain some juiciness.

The 4 nations and 1 bite was a surprise. Although the generous slices of smoked salmon overpower the Hamon Serrano at the bottom, it is a nice combination with the German potato pancakes. They also sprinkle what seemed to be Cesar dressing, which had the right balance of mustard and anchovies. It makes me want to go back and try the Cesar salad, hopefully with that dressing. Most restaurants in KL pretend to sell Cesar salad, but the dressing is so wrong.

The Spanish ham (half portion) has a nice presentation, but I wish the salad with the dressing would on one side, so that it doesn’t contaminate the ham to each with the little melon balls.

The rose sangria was a pleasant surprise. Although very berry flavor, you can taste the martini in the backend, and feel a little kick after a glass.

Frankly, the ambiance is a bit too formal for my taste, and may scare some people away in TTDI thinking it is as pricy as some very fancy restaurant in the hood.

One cool surprise was that bread, which you can order as much as you want, and it is served with a nice shredded chicken and butter spread.

Last, but not least, an after dinner alcoholic shot ok the house to help you wash the...

very underwhelming service, staffs and floor manager seems not trained at all, not friendly , and lacks professionalism, never bother to explain each dishes served and throw it on table like siu chaw, ordered my foods 5 hours in advance because its a weekend so i know it will be busy but still have to wait long time for each dishes, finished dishes plates were not cleared until dessert, designs of private rooms are small and cramped, wait staff not attentive have to walk out of the room to order many times, whats even funny, the floor manager doesn’t allow us to cut our cake and eat it because its Durian flavored, ok understood? but when we ask their help to cut the cake to two piece to pack on the go they say cant too, because of the smell? like you cant just go to the kitchen to cut? end up we have to slice it ourselves outside of the restaurant, imagine being treated this way for dinner and they never serve us any complimentary birthday cakes when i already informed someones birthday… pls la, even brew house or uncle dons treat their customers better ,and i spent rm1400 for dinner…seriously, the experience in Changkat branch seems much more better foodwise and experience and i can easily tell this branch is a franchise and operated separately..totally feels disappointed with this visit, should’ve went to Changkat branch as my past visits there were so so so much better, thanks for ruining my dinner.

Only commendable wait staff is the young chinese gentleman with permed hair who seems to know what he’s doing, perhaps the owner should promote him as floor...

First visit to this outlet of El Cerdo. Have been a frequent visitor to the ori at Changkat. Was unsure if the level of food quality and service would be on par. Quick summary of the good and no so good as follows:- Good 1. Service is excellent. I would prabably rate the service at this outlet better vs Changkat. Special call out to Jenny who provided my entourage and I one of the best service that we have experienced. Exceptionally accomodative and proactive. 2. Rooms are available here for larger groups. This provides more privacy that is really appreciated. 3. Parking is ample at the basement. A small fee of RM3 is levied which is acceptable. Not So Good (not calling it bad though) 1. Kitchen exhaust is inadequate and needs to be improved. We were surprised that all of us had the kitchen oil smell on us after we completed the dinner. Not sure if this only impacts the rooms only. 2. The signature piglet was not on par with that in Changkat. Maybe it was the one which we had. 3. No toilets. Guests will need to get to the building's toilets. 4. The dining timeslots. It has a 2 hour slot for each table. While I fully understand this rationale, it may pose a bit of unnecessary pressure on patrons to eat faster rather than enjoying the meal. But have not been "chased" out by any of the teams yet thus far 😅. All in, it was a great experience very well deserving of 5 stars.
