Chinese restaurant inside a mall. The few branches that stood the time. Some closed due to intense competition with new similar concept restaurants. Used to serve Sichuan cuisine but lately added shanghainese staples too. Waitresses are mostly elderly, efficient but no PR. Speak loudly and always in a hurry. No patient for diners who need time to decide. We always only order single dishes but this time we try to order a complete meal. Yam ring with chicken cube and cashew nuts is good. Fried brinjal the best. The lemon chicken is normal. The mah po taufu is a let down. Shanghai woh tip so so. Tung po meat with buns is the most disappointed dish. No melt in the mouth fat potion and the sauce salty. Prefer the one serve at Dragon. For dessert order 2 bowls of taufu fah.with peanut and sesame balls. This decent. Cup dirty , with leftover rice and food. Disgusting. I told waitress aunty. But she arrogantly argue back it's bubble. Go kitchen to act like change but give me same dirty cup. Tell Foreign worker. He act like change going me same dirty cup. I tell different lady she change on 3rd times.

3 times I have to keep saying to change cup. Somemore argue back to me is bubble don't listen it's leftover food.

No good hygiene on cup. Spoil experience

renowned for their shanghai cuisine. a simple bowl of shanghai noodles to the more exotic dung po rou or their wuxi ribs. those with big appetites could request extrs noodles for rm2 for any shanghai noodles dish. their cooked dishes are delectable but prices are on the high side. although shanghainese dishes are their specialty, they also offer simple stir fried cantonese and sze chuan spicy dishes. also available are some pastries like siu pau, kaya puff, salted egg yolks in lotus paste. they used to offer shanghaiese dumplings but are now available for take aways. need to steam it before...
