Hotpot Kitchen Express — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

The portion all depends on the staff mood — same ingredients I choose but different amount every time.

Also ordered their “snack bowl” which should come with fries, fried chicken, and rice cake. Waited super long to arrive, and when it finally did, it only had fries and fried chicken — no rice cake at all. Asked the staff and he just coldly said “we haven’t been selling with rice cake for a while now.” No apology, no heads up. What’s worse is I even asked if the item was available before ordering since it’s been out of stock before, and the staff said yes but didn’t mention it’s missing a whole ingredient.

Nice food and friendly stuff now, the previous waitress don’t even knew how to talk till the supervisor solve it. Better don’t hire a part time waitress if she that doesn’t know how to explain or talk. Anyway I’ve gone through the comment section and still go for a try, but I don’t feel that way. Verdict: Unlikely I will repeat this restaurant due to the taste of the food.

Food: 麻辣香锅 Mala hotpot (dry): 5/10. Noodle is not cooked through. The flavour of the mala sauce is too light, no taste of Sichuan peppercorn, much less salty than I expected from a Mala hotpot.

Service: Average. The sitting area unable to see the queue number.

Environment: Cleanliness is good. Good and bright...
