Had dinner here with my partner tonight(21/7/2022). Was warmly greeted by the polite and very welcoming waiter. Serving time is abit slow though despite no other customer were to be seen except for me n my partner. Not really a big deal since we weren’t that hungry.
5 days earlier (16/7/2022) was our first visit and we fell in love with their Mee Kolok Daging. The texture and taste of the noodle, beef, soy sauce and soup is so authentic that i dare to say it’s the closest to what i used to had it Sarawak. Also, the portion is very fulfilling. In fact, ttdi kedey kamek’s mee kolok might even beat some of the mee kolok in Sarawak according to my taste bud. Since then, Im looking forward to pay another visit as soon as possible due to the pleasant experience we had earlier.
However, tonight’s visit was so dissapointing. It doesnt taste anything at all like how we had it 5 days ago. Also price has been slightly increased. I personally feel that people wouldn’t mind paying extra at all as long as it’s going to worth their money. No compromise on quality and it must be strictly maintained.
I hope the management came across this review and take immediate action on this.
Sincerely missing the good mee kolok daging i...

All staff (both front and back kitchen) with NO MASK. TALKING freely.
Food was slow. Too salty and full of what seems to taste like MSG (too much of it). Overpriced!
After paying, I enquired why all staff not wearing mask indoor. The staff with blonde hair (young looking boy) answered me “It doesn’t really matter anymore” with a smug on his face. Shrugging off the matter. He then went on to say “polis datang pun tak pakai mask”. I informed him the current SOP is to still wear mask indoors, he didn’t care much and still said it doesn’t matter anymore, free now, further justifying that he too doesn’t mind others not wearing mask. That’s not the point!
I told him it’s different because you are running a business, he ignored me and said something under his breath. Extremely rude, non-compliant and nonchalant. He doesn’t care about others, the same for the entire restaurant and staff.
Btw, if you noticed, this staff accused PDRM of their officers not complying to SOPs and not wearing masks indoors.
Again - stay far away from this place! Save your money and health....
Read moreUpdated review today: They renovated the interior. Gorgeous ambience. Azie the supervisor, assisted us with the dishesz answered our questions on their new menu, cekodok cinnamon tasted great and all others. Hidden gem of TTDI. 🤩🥰
Old review below: I went there on Saturday and the restaurant was almost empty. BUT Its a good thing because then i can have my lunch in peace and quiet. TTDI can be very hectic most of the times and having a quiet meal is almost impossible.
You might be thinking, if theres not many people, then the restaurant must suck. SUPRISE SUPRISE, the sarawak meals were delicious and amazing!
I ordered something unique like Umai jellyfish, quite hot n spicy, pisang goreng etc. All of them , delicious! The waiter who served us, Encik Zul was friendly and i had quite a cozy experience eating there.
Well, i dont care if they arent many people frequenting the shop🤣🤣 , its a hidden gem.🥰
