This is a Chinese kopitiam operating in TTDI area of Kuala Lumpur. The setup of the kopitiam is simple. There are multiple salls within this kopitiam. The quality of food preparation is generally above average. The food choices available is relatively wide. Most of the common popular rice and noodles dishes are available herem Enjoyed and recommend the Pork Noodles Soup. The Curry Sauce in the Curry Noodles is fantastic. Recommend the Curry Noodles too. Food portions are reasonable. The usual coffee shop drinks are served here. Prices are reasonable. Cash and e-wallet payments are accepted here. Cleanliness is acceptable. Service is fast. May be slightly longer wait during peak hours. There are some small steps in front of the kopitiam and together with the nearby congested setup; handicapped patrons on wheelchairs may encounter some difficulties. Parking is roadside parking. Getting a parking space during peak hours may require some patience.

This is not the first time coming here for the fish noodle! (They close on alternate Tuesdays) I love this stall as they always provide freshly fried fish, the fish is not oily at all, and the bones are even fried till crunchy and edible! There is no bad fishy taste to it, fish is well sliced, tender and moist, absolutely delicious and must try for those who love fish skin! There is an option to opt for non-fried version as well. Broth is clear and super hot! U can opt for non-milk version as well. I like to order extra tomatoes, which the auntie is extremely nice and followed the order :) Kopi was delicious and kuih is tasty as well.

Typical kopitiam, at this time (8.30am) mainly patronised by workers grabbing a quick bite before going to work. Food looks ok, didn't see anything I would rave over. I came for the ckt with extra (lots of) siham, so I'll just comment on that. I love fresh siham, so that was good. The ckt, well, it was ok, but not the best. I think the stove was not hot enough to create the "wok hei". So I had a very ordinary plate of ckt, but topped with lots of fresh siham. But that's ok with me! 😊

Takeaway Review : Mostly Underwhelming

Pork Noodle – 4/10 (RM10)

Just average. Nothing memorable in terms of broth or ingredients.

Fried Fish Slice Noodle – 2/10

Strong wine taste overpowered the dish... might be more suitable for lala noodle instead.

Too many fish bones, which made eating unpleasant.

It’s puzzling why better fish parts weren’t used for a smoother experience.

Curry Laksa – 3/10

Lacked richness and aroma. Overall taste didn’t stand out.

Kopi Peng – 3/10 (RM3.50)

Not to my liking... weak blend, not smooth. One of those I wouldn’t reorder.

Overall: Nothing from this round stood out. Wouldn’t revisit based on this experience.

It's been a while since I take a visit to my fav fish head noodle here. Yet after years since the pandemic SOP and now the price hike economic, still my fav fish head noodle taste the same goods without compromising the extras veggies (tomatoes, 'ham choy' (salty veggie) strips. Think this is the only stall with a lot of veggies added. Not to mention the fried fish head taste fresh. If you don't have the patience to eat a good fish because of its bones then this stall does have fish paste noodles which are also as good. The same stall does sell good curry noodles. Do try the coffee shop drink, the coffee is good too. Very...
