Here the Yemeni Mulawah bread is a must-try. I ordered the largest size and it's perfect with lamb fahasa, which is my ultimate favourite Yemeni dish. It's deliciously flavourful and rich, and the shredded lamb is well cooked with tomatoes and onions, resulting in not too watery or gravy ish, that's what I like it to be the most. 👍 Not to mention the Mulawah bread is so good! 🔥 crispy, savory, and nutty thanks to tons of black sesameseeds. Just like at Sanaa, Saba, Saraya, some of Yemen Restaurants, Cyberjaya, Serdang, and Sri Kembangan we used to enjoy, the fun of tearing the bread with my hands and eating it whole is truly the best of all. That's why I asked them to serve it whole, rather than cutting it up in the kitchen. Yemeni food truly captured our hearts as we haven't had it in recent years. I can tell by trying the Yemeni fahasa and Mulawah. Next time, i gotta give a try other Yemeni dishes like akda, qedah, fasouria etc of course witg gigantic mulawah. 😋 The other lamb kebabs and lamb cubes grilled were delicious as they are pretty standard, but the portions were a bit small for us like a big eater family of 3. 🤣 Also, the portions of hummus and baba ghanoush for dipping were quite small. Once you dip the bread in it, it's almost gone like seeing the bottom of the plate, so it's really really shallow. Besides, the baba ghanoush is overly watery with tomatoes and onions, and I couldn't taste any eggplants 🍆 at all. Oh just the that day? Other than that, the Yemmeni food alone, my family is gonna come again for sure! The staff is kind, attentive and super kid friendly! Highly recommended for those craving for Yemeni 🇾🇪food like me. 👍

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an exceptional Al Sultan TTDI restaurant, and it was a satisfying experience. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel like I was transported to a typical Arabian atmosphere with Arabian music . The menu featured a wonderful array of traditional Arabian, Yemeni and Turkish dishes, each bursting with flavor and authenticity. The Mandy/Madghout/Serbian lamb chicken platter was a highlight, with tender, perfectly seasoned lamb and chicken, and the rice was so aromatic, it felt like a comforting embrace. The Prawn Salona (Yemeni stew) was rich and full of deep, savory spices. Every dish was carefully crafted with fresh ingredients, making each bite a true delight. The service was top-notch — the staff (name Magdi) was attentive, friendly, and eager to share details about the dishes, ensuring we had the best possible experience. The fresh apple juice was also fantastic and the chocolate crepe the perfect ending to the meal. Whether you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or new to Yemeni flavors, this restaurant offers a genuine taste of Arabian hospitality and culinary tradition. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience with reasonably affordable price! The staffs are friendly from Yemen, Pakistan and Afghanistan. We had a birthday celebration with all the staffs arriving with the cake singing a joyful Yemeni birthday song.

Came here for the first time, and it was to celebrate my brother’s birthday. It was a gamble since I’ve not been here before. Called to make a reservation earlier, and was given a nice cosy room! Prefect for families with children. We were a group of 8 adults, 3 kids and a baby. We left with a big smile, happy with the service and the food served. It left us quite an impression and definitely a birthday memory to remember. Ordered the family pax, and we didn’t wait long till our first plate arrived. When all of us took a bite, it blew our taste buds away. Can’t remember what dish was it, but it definitely was a good start to the birthday dinner. The rest of the food that came after, didn’t disappoint! It was all delicious and tasty. Whether it was the kebab, the fries, the rice and the meat, everything was cooked nicely. Tea was great, both mint and adeni tea! I think all in all, we had three pots of adeni tea and one mint tea 🤣 Kudos to Omar and the whole team, pretty much everyone that made the birthday celebration fun and enjoyable. They even sang and clapped together. Really appreciate it and thank you for making it a lovely evening for all of us. Parking is available, whether paid or free street parking. Surau and toilets are also available. Will definitely be back soon for the food and tea 😁

This has been my frequent spot for late dinners due to them closing at 1130pm . All this while since ive been quite used to the food, i totally forgot to take pics and even drop a review.🤣

First n foremost i value the hospitality of the waiters. In fact at any restaurant for that matter. So here, for me, i frequent this restaurant wearing my casual t shirt n sandals and still will receive warm n friendly hospitality from its waiters. Mind u, there are some arabic restaurants who arent really frenly despite the abundance of food ordered. You will know which is which if u have been a fan of arabic food.

Atmosphere is nice since they provide different set ups. One dining area is inside with air cons for quiet conversations and the other one is outside with really gorgeous garden settings..almost luxurious.

So far, my favourite are Al Sultan TTDi, Royal Bedouin in Plaza Damas ( sorry not ttdi branch) and one more in Cova Kota Damansara.

If u wana practise your arabic, you can. Some are from egypt and some are Pakistans and Yemen. They will happily engage with u in a short arabic conversation.

So the food is good n flavourful depending on the types of food u ordered. You would know how a good chicken mandy tastes like, or Mulawah bread, or chicken aqda etc.

Service is reasonably fast. If u r caught in a busy session, u have to wait slightly longer but thats fine for me.

Sorry I didnt take pics here since i would think many have seen how arabic meals would look like. 😁😁

Oh yeah, the best part is ,here they will give u a sincere short celebration for your birthday. That means a lot for customers.

Hope they maintain this whole quality and become a...

Sultan is a gem of a restaurant located in Kuala Lumpur, offering an authentic dining experience that celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Yemeni and Shaami cuisine. From the moment you arrive, the warm and welcoming ambiance, paired with elegant decor inspired by Middle Eastern aesthetics, sets the tone for a memorable meal.

The menu at Sultan is a masterclass in authenticity and flavor. Whether you’re craving the smoky richness of Yemeni mandi rice or the vibrant, herb-infused flavors of Shaami mezze, every dish is prepared with care and precision. The lamb mandi, a highlight on the menu, is perfectly tender and aromatic, with rice that’s subtly spiced to perfection. The Shaami-style hummus, baba ghanoush, and freshly baked bread offer the perfect start to your meal.

What truly sets Sultan apart is the quality of the ingredients. The meats are halal, succulent, and cooked to perfection, while the fresh herbs and spices transport you straight to the heart of the Middle East.
