It’s my first time to visit here and this is the last. The worse burger i ever tried. I loved to eat my burger holding with my two hands and having a big bite each time that’s how i enjoyed it, but to this burger i can’t enjoy it like that way because it’s not really stuffed and the ground beef patty are kept falling apart, and it’s also feels a wet patty and it taste ridiculous. The coffee is okay. But my complaint is i think this place needs to improved the service, as my experience and observation they give my coffee to the table next to me which is i think the two ladies didn’t order another drinks as i saw their face reaction like “they never had additional order” and almost didn’t touch the coffee and the same time maybe they don’t mind it having too because it’s already paid anyway, the system policy of this cafe is you have to scan the barcode to order and you have to proceed payment online so to finally processed your order, which means once you already paid then they process your order. When I arrived the place i sat next to the two ladies table and these ladies were already having their meal and drinks. But after i paid mine a few minute later the other table received my coffee i guess, As my burger serves first and my drinks haven’t served yet , usually have to serve the drinks first before the food, i saw the coffee counter didn’t make coffee anymore and there’s no other customer came in after me. So I’m pretty sure that the coffee they served to the table next to me was mine. So i asked the staff if where’s my coffee and she went to the counter to confirm my order and i saw their faces like both of them are confused and instead they start to make another coffee again, and when the coffee arrives on my table it’s the same as the table next to mine. Lol. Anyway it’s not my loss. It’s just the service is not well aware and not trained enough. But i know there’s a room for improvement of service and food especially needs to enhance.

On the table is wild mushroom soup (RM15) and steak&eggs with asparagus (RM47). The wild mushroom had enough about it to alright, however old man was not blown away. The flavor seems light handed and I was reaching out for the salt and pepper even before the second slurp. In most cases, this would seem to be an insult to the chef; but in my weird head, under seasoning a dish is way better than over seasoning. I didn't believe I would be so arsed luck, so let's wait for the main.
Steak and Eggs is a dish you can't go wrong with. This is a quintessential American brunch, with variations, so I was really expecting something here but as with the day, I am disappointed yet again. The steak cut was wrong, very wrong. A thicker sirloin would be best but this was tough to cut in even though it's medium well. More glaring was the meat devoid of flavour. Salt and pepper will take care of this but there was none. Surely you cannot screw up eggs, yes you can by not including any seasoning. Then what happens is you get bland eggs. Life is too short for bland eggs.
Worcestershire sauce or Hollandaise sauce or any sauce will save this. Choosing better cuts or quality asparagus will also justify the price. Maybe it's the chef's day off, maybe it's my off day but today's bland meal was definitely a put off.

Read moreWe went on a weekday afternoon to avoid the weekend crowd. I had salad with baramundi and hubby had the smashed avocado on a toast. Was planning on trying their coffee after our meals but was so dissapointed with the Salad and the toast that we had to pass on the coffee. My salad came in a bowl full of greens and quinoa thats all. The dressing werent even toss in together with the greens, they gave it separately,that is after i requested for it coz they forgotten all bout it. I add on a side of baramundi for my salad (as thats part of the choices they gave other then chicken) came in separately with no garnishing for a rm25 worth of quarter slice. All in all my "baramundi" salad coast me rm45. Completely an eyebrow raising kinda situation right there.
Then came in the Smashed avocado toast. It was merely a slice of toast with a half Avocado n 1 egg. Thats it. With no garnishing watsoever. Thats for 19 bucks. We totally dont mind the price but the presentation of the food does not reflect the price. Its the value of the food does not match the price.
Maybe a lil bit more of R&D and improvement, we will come back. Plus you gotta improve your service time. It took bout 25 mins for my salad to arrive considering the cafe only had other 2 tables who were just sitting there drinking coffee even before we came in. So essentially they were jst making our orders n it took that long. Cant imagine hows it like, if it were to be during lunch rush. Timing would be a problem for sure.
