Lol Soon Kee Desserts @Taman Desa 囉信记糖水甜品 — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I'm a loyal customer to this dessert brand. I ordered and ate at the Cheras & Taipan branch many times via Grab and at location. Never faced situations like this. The portion and taste has always been the same. But the outlet at Taman Danau Desa is very disappointing.

Had dessert with my family yesterday. We first ordered black sesame, fu chok barley, sweet potato ginger, and we did some take away orders as well.

I'm disappointed with the portions & taste of the desserts. The black sesame is very starchy and lack of black sesame, the fu chok & ginkgo barley is full of barley, and no Ginkgo at all. The sweet potato ginger, totally no sweet potato taste at all on sugar water. I wonder where did the ginger went.

There's many customers in the shop yesterday, but the air conditioning was off. I wonder what is the SOP at the outlet.

Disappointing Service Experience

I recently visited this today and, unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite providing information about the container upfront, the cashier failed to acknowledge it. To make matters worse, extra charges were imposed, alleging that this information wasn't communicated initially.

What adds to the frustration is that, even though the food was yet to be prepared, the cashier didn't refund the unjustified extra charges. Like mentioned in a previous comment, the boss or person in charge seemed doesn't care and unresponsive.

Given this regrettable encounter, I would hesitate to recommend this particular branch and suggest exploring alternatives, such as the one in Sri Petaling, where service might be more customer-oriented. I hope this feedback is...

Been a customer of this brand in Sri Petaling for quite a a few times, always delivery, always very good. So when a branch open in Danau Desa i think all the residents here quite happy. Been to this place twice now including tonight. 1st time - Longan dessert was overly sweet and just taste of canned ingredients. My fav bubur cha cha was ok only and the yam was tough. Feedback to the boss, did not seem to care and tak apa attitude. 2nd time today - Again ordered bubur cha cha, this time worse only tastse of sweet potato, no yam to be found.
