Very good selection of wine and that's about it.
Poor menu selection; none of the food complements a wine and dine experience. They only serve pub finger food and other dishes like fried rice, fried beehoon, hokkien mee etc. None of this really go well with the ambience that the place has to offer.
I ordered the hokkien mee and it was very average and came along with a RM20 pricetag too. It feels like they are really out to overcharge their patrons on food. At least offer some quality food rather than making me feel like I'm getting ripped off for a hokkien mee that I can taste in any food court. The RM20 luncheon meat wasn't anything to shout about. It's canned food! At least be creative when ripping people off.
Service level is below average. The guy tried his best to advice me on the types of wine that might suit my pallet despite some language barrier. After that he wasn't attentive at all; hanging around outside the shop on his phone or behind the shop with earphones on. What the hell? I spent over RM180 and I had to leave my seat a couple of times to ask for the food menu or make a simple request?
There is potential in this place. Until changes are made, I can see why its predominantly empty.
1 star for wine selection. 1 star for ambience (tho you guys might want to invest in a better sound system as the current one sounds really cheap) which was ruined...
