Dining at M Cuisine is not just a feast for the taste buds but a celebration of premium ingredients, exquisite cooking techniques, and impeccable plating. Every dish reflects the chef’s dedication to perfection, delivering an unparalleled dining experience.
Starting with the Salmon & Crispy Fish Skin Yee Sang, it was nothing short of spectacular. The fresh salmon paired with crispy fish skin, fragrant sesame, and perfectly balanced sauce created a symphony of flavors and textures—fresh, fragrant, and delightfully crisp.
The Double-Boiled Deer Velvet Mushroom soup with Geoduck and fish maw was a highlight on the table. Rich, nourishing, and full of natural sweetness, it warmed the soul with every sip—a true masterpiece.
For the mains, the Signature Charcoal-Grilled Spain Iberico Pork Ribs showcased masterful control of heat. The exterior was perfectly charred and crispy, while the interior remained tender and juicy, with the natural flavors of the meat shining through.
The Braised Whole Five Head Abalone with Mushrooms and Prosperity Bag was another standout. The abalone and mushrooms absorbed the essence of the flavorful sauce, delivering an indulgent combination of umami and richness in every bite.
Not to be missed was Steamed Spotted Coral Trout With Dace Fish Puff, Lily Buld & Golden Preserved Chili, a dish With its flaky, tender fish and pumpkin, accompanied by a delicate crispy pastry, it offered layers of flavor, elevated further by a subtly seasoned sauce that struck just the right balance.
The Claypot Rice with Hong Kong Foie Gras Sausage & Wild Mushrooms , Goose Liver, and Dried Scallops was a crowd favorite. The aromatic rice, infused with the fragrant oil of Chinese sausages and goose liver, was complemented perfectly by the natural sweetness —impossible to stop at just one bite.
Finally, the dessert course was equally impressive. The mandarin orange-inspired dessert charmed everyone with its stunning presentation and refreshing citrus flavor, bringing a playful and satisfying end to the meal. Meanwhile, the double-boiled Honey Dew with white fungus and Peach Gum served as a soothing, palate-cleansing finale—both nutritious and delicious.
From the uniqueness of each dish to the harmonious overall menu, this dining experience was nothing short of perfection. If you’re a food enthusiast who enjoys the blend of innovation and tradition, M Cuisine is a must-visit...
Read moreThe Chinese restaurant to go in Desa Parkcity
M Cuisine is a popular Chinese fine dining restaurant in Desa Parkcity, an upmarket address in Kepong. I have seen many restaurants come and go in Plaza Arkadia where this restaurant calls home, but after so many years (they even survived MCO) they managed to stay strong.
Normally it's best to make a reservation on weekends but weekday is easier as I can just walk-in and enjoy my dinner. Armed with a bottle of wine (usually), I liked their service and most importantly the quality of food.
◾fried silver fish with salt & pepper - always love a good snack as starter. ◾Lychee foie gras ball - a novelty creation and striking presentation by the chef that really looks like lychee from the outside. The lovely flavour of foie gras could be tasted as I sank my teeth in. ◾pan fried Spanish iberico pork neck with garden green salad - thinly sliced tender iberico pork neck on a bed of citrusy salad that cut off the oily taste on the palate. ◾deep fried Spanish iberico pork with garlic - using iberico pork instead of regular pork came with a higher price tag but that was expected. Didn't taste much difference though. ◾Chef's special braised lamb shank with mantao - fall-off-the-bone tender lamb meat where the brown sauce was lovely enough to be wiped with accompanying deep fried mantao. ◾ Grilled squid with special sauce - ordered this upon recommendation from our waitress and didn't regret the decision. The sauce was sweet & savoury coating the perfectly grilled squid. ◾Boiled Japanese beancurd money bag with Chinese cabbage & chicken soup - she liked the murky and milky broth filled with money bag (ong ong for Chinese) and black fungus. ◾roasted salted Chicken - I couldn't find fault in this poultry. ◾pan fried iberico pork chop - I could just order this slab of tender and delicious pork to pair with my wine.
As I'd mentioned before that this restaurant is a high end, prices are expected to be on the high side as well.
They have taken up another lot behind their main restaurant and converted it into private dining...
