In my opinion:
Tips to diners: Always go through your order again once you finalize everything. It's better to take a picture before handling the order to the waiter. Also check the order again after the waiter place the order for you. Why? Coz they might order wrong item for you which you don't mark.
Did they cancelled it? Thank God, they did and we did it peacefully but it's kinda unpleasant for being accused that I marked something else by accident where I didn't. Here some points:
Well, we are all human and we make mistakes sometimes. Furthermore, they are busy so I don't blame them for these as long as they allow us to cancel it.
Why do I give 3 stars? It's just hotpot, dude. I'm not impressed at all. It's good to have it during raining days.... And to comfort...
Read moreIt was a bad experience for our dinner gathering last night. Reason as below: Service is very slow. The ordered food waited very long to reach our table after orders submitted. Our next table neighbours already receive their food and came late than us also. Maybe the table number "88" was not a good number after all.
We notice the rubber band is with the enoki when take out from the hotpot. Then we complaint to the staff there and they took it off immediately (*we forgot to took photo as well). After 5 minutes, one of the staff came to us and told us it was tomato slice instead rubber band, no need to worry and will give us one more plate of enoki. That portion hotpot was not replaced with new soup based also. Nearly the end of our dinner, one of the staff suddenly pass us one plate of the noodles and said it was free for us. Why so good?? **I did touch the "rubber band", indeed it was a rubber band without elasticity, "tomato slice" does not convince us anyway.
The food price is a bit pricey, food taste average only. However the soup based is tasty indeed.
Sorry to say this was the first and last visit to this restaurant. Hope this restaurant can make it...

With VIP room equipped with a outdated karaoke system, requires a min spend of rm500 to book the vip room. I tried the pork bone n mala soup, and honestly, my personal experience n preference, taste better than the nearby competitor "one dish one taste" soup, also a mala hotpot. But both have slightly different offerings. So its really subjected to taste preference. More over, lamei hotpot pricing is slightly cheaper than its nearest competitor. Most of the tables down stairs are more fitted for groups of 4 n 6. Choices of condiment and meat slices are plenty. I personally thinks their lamb slices are very good. For parking wise, at the basement carpark, park near the entrance for block H. As usual, arcadia is fairly crowded during weekends. Make bookings especially if u wanna go for...
