I had the pleasure of dining at Madam Kwan’s recently, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food and service were both outstanding.
To begin with, the menu offered an impressive array of Malaysian dishes, making it a culinary adventure right from the start. We started with the classic Chicken Satay, and the skewers were perfectly grilled, served with a rich and flavorful peanut sauce that had just the right balance of sweet and savory.
For our main courses, we ordered the Nasi Bojari and the Nasi Lemak. The Nasi Lemak was fragrant and coconut-infused, served with crispy anchovies and a fiery sambal that packed a punch. The Beef Rendang in Nasi Bojari was a melt-in-your-mouth delight, with tender chunks of beef slow-cooked in a rich and aromatic sauce.
The service at Madam Kwan’s was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and well-versed in the menu, offering helpful recommendations. Our dishes arrived promptly, and our glasses were never empty.
The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with a touch of Malaysian charm. It was evident that they paid attention to every detail, from the decor to the presentation of the dishes.
In conclusion, Madam Kwan’s exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was authentic and delicious, and the service was top-notch. If you’re looking for a memorable Malaysian dining experience, I highly recommend Madam Kwan’s. It’s a true gem in the culinary scene.

Read moreI've been dining at Madam Kwan's for over 10 years, and I must say, the experience remains as impeccable as it was on my first visit as a kid and now experiencing this again as an adult. It's a rare delight to find a restaurant that maintains such high standards consistently over the years.
The food is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a harmonious blend of flavors that takes your taste buds on a delightful journey through Malaysia. The service is always warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home the moment you step in. The ambiance, with its cozy and inviting atmosphere, complements the culinary experience perfectly. We had an excellent waiter as well to service us who has been working with Madam Kwan since 1979 and he truly made it more enjoyable.
Having worked in the restaurant industry, including at a place where the chef has two hats, I have a deep appreciation for quality dining. Yet, given the choice between dining at my workplace or traveling to Malaysia for a meal at Madam Kwan's, I'd choose Madam Kwan's every single time. It's worth the journey from continents away just to have some !

We just stunned and then laughed,by the ignorance of the waiter.ok it doesnt end there.so this guy walked in n out of the kitchen, then i noticed everytime he went in to the kitchen,he took off his mask n talked happily while packing food(i even recorded a video of it)..cut short, its time for dessert,we waited for the table to be cleared for about 10minutes,so we called the waiter for our dessert, still our table isnt cleared.when the dessert arrived, without clearing the table FIRST!,he bring the dessert to our face while looking at the table like signaling for us to move the uncleared dishes and take the dessert out of his hand!i just stared at his face hopelessly.
