Marrybrown Setapak — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Me and my husband went here early this week on a weekday night. There was not so many customers. We were greeted by a friendly staff who was at the front desk outside of the restaurant named Mustakim. We asked him whether we can order there or we need to go into the restaurant, he nicely said we can order there and then he took our order. He was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and what we mentioned to him. He took the money we gave for payment and placed it in a plastic, he went inside and when the food is ready he delivered it to us - we were waiting in the car, the balance and receipt still in the plastic. He managed to maintain no contact when delivering the food placed on a tray to the car. Adorable personality this young man.

The food we received was enough in quantity, it's good in taste. Portion wasn't too bad, its worth the value.

This is a new fast food restaurant opened in the area, which is good. I read comments mentioning about the service; slow, etc. New means not everything will be perfect, which I understand and able to empathy with based on my own previous experience working in the fast food industry. I see good potential for this branch and I hope it will remain in the Danau Kota area for a long time - provided that the Management want to listen and improve their service for the better.

All these reviews don't really help at all.. My first impression of this MB branch was good. This is just another double-storey MB branch located near PV12.. When I came here, I was served by the kindest and super friendly staff at the counter.. she even suggested to me about the promotion.. Mind you if you want to order chicken, pls don't come during their peak hour otherwise you will have to wait 15 minutes.. so far so good..

The second floor is pretty organized and clean.. they created a spot and a decoration for a birthday.. such a big space for a birthday party when you do it with your big family..

One problem I'm not satisfied with was that the toilet looks clean but at the same it smells like a piss.. not to mention that the sink had a rubbish on it.. hope the staff will take note...

Went to this Marrybrown Danau Kota yesterday at 9.30pm. Once we entered, the first disappointment was we were told we can only takeaway when the shop closes at 10pm. We still agreed and proceeded to order. But then the person in the kitchen told us the chicken is only enough for previous customers and they can’t fry more and asked us to choose something else. I don’t know why they want to do so when the opening hour is still shows open but they refuse to cook food. It’s like they’re more excited to close the restaurant rather than entertaining the customers. The food we ordered came in poor preparation too (just normal fried burger patty with mayonnaise). So disappointed to get this treatment from a well known...
