MUSE Cafe — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

The service is EXTREMELY TERRIBLE! I've always been a loyal customer to spicy temptation, but now I'm thinking of going to other mala store instead.

Order a shopee food delivery for mala soup cause I'm craving for it, after the driver reached he suddenly called me and said that the waiter wanna talk to me. Proceed with the call and ask what they wanted to said to me. Initially the guy asked whether I can understand malay, so told them I can understand Chinese, English & Malay, anything? Not trying to racist here but the guy said something that is inaudible so I told them I know Chinese, you can speak with me in Chinese (why I answer this is because I went to the store physically for a few times and I remember some of them can speak chinese). Then he continue to said something that I really couldn't understand and he passed the phone to another girl. That girl told me soup no more, so I ask them what is the solution then? She continue on (yesterday soup no more... change gan). So I fed up and said just change, everything follow the order. Is quite irritating to go back and forth with just a simple issue. Asked them a few questions But they couldn't answer also...

Understand human being will make mistakes, so I'm fine if something happend and needed some changes. But the inability to communicate really ruin everything. I'm not sure is it because they are panic etc but please give them...

I went to another mala restaurant situated nearby and therefore I could not resist myself from making comparison between this restaurant and the other restaurant.

The vege and meat at the freezer doesn't seem fresh. The reason I visited this restaurant is to eat 麻辣烫but after I took the vege & meat, and wanted to pay at counter, then only I get informed that 麻辣烫is not available, so I have to either choose 番茄汤or 麻辣锅. They should have informed me much earlier before I even took vege and meat or at least put a written notice.

The 麻辣锅is not spicy even I ordered 中辣, the taste is quite plain compared to the other restaurant.

番茄汤is yucks, ajinomoto taste.

Don't take their 宽粉, not those kind of good quality 宽粉, hard to bite and swallow.

Also, very slow in serving the food, waited more than 30 minutes for a 番茄汤, in fact it was served way after we finished eating the mala hotpot (which we ordered together with the tomato soup).

It's also quite warm in the restaurant.

This place serve ma la spicy soup base, dry base and tomato soup base noodle and rice. You can choose your own ingredients varies from meat balls, vegetables, meat slices, octopus, squids, prawns, mushrooms, lotus, potatoes, smoked duck, luncheon meat or even intestines etc. you will use the transparent heavy bowl provided and select your own ingredients and the cashier will weight and calculate how much you need to pay. I went and ask the price and was told to be RM5.8 per 100g , I’m not sure whether they include the weight of the heavy bowl 🤔🤔 The ma la dry based is delicious with peanuts and spices, I think soup base had included condensed milk which provide the sweetness, while the tomato soup is kinda watery but not bad. It’s a good experience but expect to spend about RM25-35 per bowl as you pick up your favorite...
