Thai Hot Mookata&Chinese Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This mookata used to be the best in Setapak but NOW NO MORE. It's expensive, poor service with limited choices. I always come here for RM29.90++ buffet inclusive of a glass of drink. The buffet used to have abalone slices, bak gua, taiwan sausages, bursting meatball and smoked duck. These are my fav and NOW NO LONGER AVAILABLE. The service is SO SLOW AND IRRESPONSIVE. The mookata pot was so smokey like a fire scene but I couldn't get any help from the workers there. They also missed out my orders and they are taking forever to prepare my orders. THE WORST PART IS THE BOSS'S ATTITUDE!!! I noticed that the order stated that the drinks are not included in the buffet set anymore. I double confirmed with the workers and the workers said still inclusive in the buffet so they just helped me to order. When I paid the bill. I only noticed that I was being charged for drinks. I asked the boss and I explained the situation to her, she responded by saying that her workers have no idea what I am saying. She asked me to take note of this when I come next time. She's so funny. Why would I visit again with poor service and expensive food provided? Seriously, just go to any Mookata in Desa Setapak, Plaza Prima or even Jalan Pahang, so much better service and food selections. NEVER EVER VISIT AND STEP INTO THIS...

Been here twice.. Mainly because they have a good selection of food. Although the selection of meat is limited but for the price.. it's prefect. Service is a bit slow despite having many waiters and waitresses. Atmosphere wise.. indoors need more ventilation.. outdoors need to have proper protection from rain.

This is probably the first buffet shop I been to and they actually charge for waste..

For those who come here and choses to have buffet, do remember to eat ALL and drink ALL that you have ordered. This shop will charge you rm 10 for every 100g not finished. I saw them charging a customer extra rm 60 for unfinished.. uncooked food. They literally collected the food that was still in the container and weigh it.. So.. a 60+ meal for 2 quickly became 120+ for that customer.

For my case.. i went to pay while my friend is still drinking her drink.. the cashier told me.. you need to finish your drinks before you can pay.. i was like.. my friend is drinking it.. just left like 50ml (with ice).. the cashier still refused to take my money.

I guess this is how they manage to give you rm 29.90++ for buffet.. They strictly charge for wastage.. It's fair, I guess, in the name for avoiding wastage.. but it does leave a sour taste when you enforce it...

Hi Thai Hot workers, this is not the first time I came here to have my dinner. But I’m very disappointed about the services now. The menu has changed, the staff is ignoring me, the food cut very mess, and the food needs to wait soooooo long. I last visit is 10/2023, the menu still have many choices such as the smoky duck and the golden coin dried meat, even the menu has been changed and less choice then before but the price still same. Then, when I want to add on the meat and add soup but the staff keep ignoring me and trying to ask someone beside him to serve me. LOL~ The pork belly slice I ordered is very mess as photo shown. I order the pork mushroom dumpling but end up come chives dumpling……….. and I order again PORK MUSHROOM DUMPLING until I finish my meal the dumpling is not served. Will not come again and not...
