Desert base from Soy Bean serving in warm / cool. This is my first visiting.

Ordered warm Tau Fu Fa (in white colour) with Pak Guo 白果, Red Bean 红豆 and some yellowish / transparent jelly. Can choose brown sugar 黄糖 or white sugar 白糖 syrup.

Order an pay at counter, there after they will call for your ordering number once the ordered are ready. I was asking whether the sweetness are pre-mixed or we can adjust the sweetness by our own... I think the service staff don't get what I mean. He answer me, They don't have and Cannot adjust by the level / percentage of the sweetness on the dessert. ~ they served brown sugar syrup separately with a small portion of the soy milk. 😅 = this mean we can adjust the sweetness by our own lol.. 😅

Taste I would rate on 3/5. The Tau Fu Fa not very smooth, the processed Pak Guo 白果, Red Bean 红豆 got the Sweetness by it self. So... For those doesn't use to having sweetness, can decide not to add in the sugar syrup. As they are sweet enough by eating with Pak Guo 白果 and Red Bean 红豆.

Price are on higher side. Atmosphere : Clean, bright, cooling place. They have outdoor seating too.

Parking not an issue, can just park at the lots provide and parking rate cheaper than...

Shoutout to the current cashier: Was browsing the menu near the counter with my gf and wondering what to order, he turn over to us and offered to explain the menu in more details to us.

He was very polite and patient throughout the explanation, can’t say the same for most cashiers.

As for the part of being ask to return the tray back, it wasn't a big deal but just wanted to highlight it as one would expect this as part of the service considering the price.

Interior design: Really hard to not noticed the amount of effort put into the interior design, wouldn’t expect this level of interior for common food such as taufufa 😁

Food: The taufufa was ok, I wouldn’t expect too much from a cafe franchise. Just like how you wouldn't go to a Starbucks for a great cup of coffee, it's just a cool/comfortable place to hang out with a slightly above average food/beverage

That being said, I can’t really give a 5⭐️ to a food establishment that don’t serve great food 😀.

Manage your expectation on the food and I think it would be a solid 4⭐️...

Had bad experience here at Setapak branch. When entering the shop, no one greeted, got many staff but all hiding at the back. And i asked to order, the staff girl just said ‘Depan’. No politeness at all.

The real problem is when paying the order, using Amex card. The outlet is using Maybank merchant terminal, obviously can accept amex, and my card already went through. But the staff was so panic saying they dont accept amex, eventhough clearly my amex transaction already approved. And she went to ask other staffs at the back, and another guy staff came to me. Saying their POS system cannot accept amex?!? Don't fool your customers please. Just because your company does not want to pay the fee for amex card. Next time don’t use maybank merchant terminal! Such a hassle when they void my payment and ask me to pay a second time!
