A ramen restaurant located in The LINC KL. Parking is easy, and the place is easy to find within the mall. Second floor.
I ordered two dishes: their A5 Wagyu Maze Ramen and the chicken gyoza.
Firstly, it is rare to find good halal ramen. The fact that they do halal mazemen is amazing. The chewy noodles are mixed with wagyu oil and soy sauce before being topped with Ajitama, wagyu cracklings (holy **), shallots, scallions, and finally the A5 Wagyu. The portion is generous. More than enough for one person by itself. Once it's all mixed, you're in for gastronomic pleasure. Beautifully done. RM69.90. It's also available with Australian beef at 28.90. I added a bowl of Superior Shio broth to try (Mazemen doesn't include broth as it is a dry dish) for RM5.90. Really light and clean broth! Undertones of chicken with a lightly salty and umami flavour to it. Would definitely try their soup ramen next time
The gyoza was free due to a vaccination promo. Spend RM50 and above, you get a side of gyoza FOC. 5 pieces. The texture was decent and it looks great. However, the filling lacks depth of flavour and seasoning.
The staff members are super warm and friendly - especially the Japanese lady! Thank you for the broth recommendation!
Table spacing for dine-in is adequate. Staff are following all SOP. Cash/Card is taken. They also do delivery.
8/10 - only let down by the gyoza. Would one hundred percent return another...
Read moreI've only heard good things about this shop, so I decided to try it for myself! We ordered their signature dishes, Wagyu Deluxe with Classic Kara Broth and Superior Shio Deluxe.
It was delightful. This is the first time I tasted wagyu meat, and if I'm not mistaken it's A5 grade. Very, very good. The broth for Kara is spicy and almost make me cough, a good benchmark I'd say to know whether they use plenty of spices or not. Meanwhile, the Shio broth was also very good. In fact, I'd probably prefer that to my Kara broth.
Portion is plentiful. So you won't be famished when you do finish your meal. The service is also very good, something that I can easily say aren't really a luxury here in this country. Probably the only downside is that I kinda wanna eat more. Haha. The Gyoza were also good, although not what I'm expecting (since I never eat them, I was expecting them to be a bit like wet popias. I'm wrong 🤣)
Place is also quite big, even though they're separated by the main walkway. Definitely is a good place for you to eat alone or with family, for lunch and dinner. Ambience is pretty much okay, since they're basically in the open. But The LINC is not a crowded place, so there aren't many background noises.
The price is quite reasonable too. Not too cheap but not too steep....
Read moreMaruki Ramen is one of the best ramen spots I have visited in Kuala Lumpur, and it truly delivers an authentic Japanese experience from the moment you step inside. The atmosphere instantly transports you to Japan — warm lighting, wooden accents, and beautifully arranged décor that feels both cozy and stylish.
Their menu is fantastic, offering a variety of ramen styles with different broths and toppings to suit every taste. I tried their signature ramen, and the flavors were deep, rich, and perfectly balanced. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the broth had that comforting depth that only comes from hours of careful preparation.
I also appreciate the small touches — the presentation of the dishes, the attention to detail, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. The service was excellent; the staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about the customers’ experience.
To my pleasant surprise, they offered me an extra serving of Japanese tea free of charge, which added to the warmth of the experience.
If you are craving authentic Japanese ramen in KL, Maruki Ramen should be at the top of your list. Delicious food, great service, and a true Japanese vibe — highly...
