I got to know the place through grab food. Then started coming here for the past few months (plus do a lot of take away. Btw, they make items off the menu & to your preference too), the consistency is what amazed me. Ofc, the food is so authentic & yummmmmmmm.
Consistency is also something that makes you wanna go there often. I have gone there at random times. The director welcomes you with a big happy smile. And they are always very accommodating. Their grill salmon is to the notch. Tasted like wild salmon. Their fried fish is yum. You eat the whole plate alone, yet you don't feel heavy. Not too much masala and definitely no colouring. You get the actual fish taste - just like mom's đ.
SL food does not contain lot masala like Indian food. It's more like Nepali food but more varieties.
Their seafood kothu is in another level. They put too many prawns, which I am definitely not complaining đ Their vegetarian string hopper kothu, vegetarian kandian rice, and cutlets are average. But the vegetarian kothu roti & Ella rice are really good. Their vegetarian sides are really really good. Colourful & flavourful veggies.
Do try their crispy point Pedro vadai. I was shocked to see it in their menu (only my town ppl make it) and even more shocked to see them making it closer to our taste.
Super comfy seats and very attentive waiters. Yesterday, we went with eatigo voucher, and the director / manager welcomed us with the same big smile. No different attitude cos you pay less. Which is really great!
I hope, they...

Yesterday, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Serendib Restaurant at G Tower KL, and I must sayâit was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish!
From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautifully cozy ambiance that set the perfect tone for our meal. The menu was rich with authentic Sri Lankan flavors, and every dish we tried was nothing short of phenomenal.
đ The food? Simply outstanding. Each dish was crafted with care, bursting with vibrant spices and bold, traditional tastes. The mutton curry was tender and packed with depth, while the hoppers and sambals brought back nostalgic memories of home-cooked meals. The seafood options were equally impressiveâfresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful in every bite.
đ¨ And the dessertâoh, the dessert! The watalappam was the star of the show. Creamy, rich, and beautifully balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect ending to our meal and left us craving more.
Not only did Serendib deliver a delicious spread, but the service was top-notchâattentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
If you're looking for a place that offers authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in the heart of KL, Serendib at G Tower is a must-visit. Highly recommended for families, foodies, and anyone who appreciates a truly satisfying dining experience. Weâll definitely be...
Read more25 June 2022 - again, the sambol set but only onion and coconut. Mutton paal poriyal, devilled mutton, yellow rice, 4-angled beans with coconut, fish cutlets, pineapple rasam. They were out of crabmeat so the yellow curry was a non-starter. The rasam was good. We enjoyed the the bits of pineapple in it. Prawns were fresh and the curry was a joy. Both mutton dishes were good too although I must add that it could have been a little more tender. And the yellow rice was especially good. The others were good and the poppadoms accompanying the sambol were perfect. Service was excellent with 'Shah'? In attendance. We had to cancel the appam as we were way to stuffed to go any further.
I would love to try some of their sets as it looks very appetising.
We love Sri Lankan food and was glad I found this place. the journey was fraught with a thunderstorm on a late evening but we finally arrived. we had the sambal set, the fish cutlet, devilled mutton, crabmeat curry, and a 4 angle coconut that was on the house. the sambal set was excellent. especially the coconut and onion. the fish cutlet too. I especially like adding the onion sambal to it. the 4 angle bean was dry fried and very tasty. the crab curry was also quite good. the appam was possibly one of the best I have had. I think that was due to the extra topping of coconut cream. that sorta hit the spot. service was very good. the bill came to some rm150 which...
