Located at 201A-C, Jln Ampang, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 🇲🇾. This is an iconic landmark in Kuala Lumpur and it is a MUST when visiting the city. The skybridge is on the 41st floor of the Petronas Twin Towers. They are an interlinked pair of 88 storey skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur. They stand at 451.9 metres high. From 1996-2004, they were the tallest buildings in the world 🌎 before they were surpassed by the Taipai 101 building. They remain the world’s tallest twin skyscrapers. They were the tallest buildings in Malaysia until 2021 until they were surpassed by the Merdeka 118. There is a shopping centre at the base of the towers called Suria KLCC. It features mainly high end brands and luxury goods. It has an art gallery, underwater aquarium and a science centre. This is reportedly the largest shopping centre in Malaysia. The views from the skybridge of the towers are stunning . On a clear day, you can see for miles. Even on an overcast day, the view is still amazing. There’s also an observation deck on the 86th floor. This gives you panoramic views over the entire city. You can take some amazing photos from up there. The tour is really informative and interesting. You come away with a deeper understanding of the buildings and how they came to be. If you go to the towers in the late afternoon to early evening, you’ll get views both in the daylight hours and after dark. Both are spectacular. The tour consisted of (i) 41st floor of sky bridge for 10 minutes, (ii) 86 floor of observation deck for 15 minutes and (iii) 83 floor of cafe, gift & souvenir shop for unlimited time. FYI, the highest floor in KLCC Twin Towers is 88 floor. The tour itself lasts 1 hour and overall is definitely worth it. The souvenirs are quite reasonable in price so i bought a few magnets. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Would not hesitate to recommend. Thumbs...
Read moreWe came early at 9.30am for 10.15am tour because anxious of KL's traffic jammed. Easy parking at the basement only costs us RM9 for 2 hours. The staff at the ticket counter is friendly to assist and told us to have a seat first because the queue for 10.15am tour check in start at 10.00am.
Not sure if this tour is suitable for OKU or wheelchair user since we didn't see neither OKU ticket nor special lift to the ticket counter. However there's ticket for elderly.
The tour consisted of (i) 41 floor of sky bridge for 10 minutes, (ii) 86 floor of observation deck for 15 minutes and (iii) 83 floor of cafe, gift & souvenir shop for unlimited time. Fyi, the highest floor in KLCC Twin Towers is 88 floor.
The souvenirs are quite cheap. RM8-RM15 for a fridge magnet, RM15 for KLCC Beryl's Chocolate etc. Don't missed their cheapest RM2 postcard and you can buy a stamp at the payment counter only cost 90 cent per stamp if you want to send the postcard as a gift to your family & friends.
Please bring your personal medicine if you have serious health conditions such like history of heart attack, asthma or even acrophobia because we saw some visitors felt dizzy, lightheaded and racing heart during the observation deck tour at 86 floor. But no worries, the staffs at the observation deck were attentive to all visitor's condition. You may easily reach them for help.
The tour lasts around 1 hour. Overall, the tour was good for a...
Read moreThis place is hugely underrated and if not for my wife request I wouldn’t think of visiting this skybridge.
Skybridge, as the name suggests, is a visit to the bridge connecting the Twin Tower of Petronas located at Level 43. But actually when you booked a tour it also includes a visit to the two other levels, level 83 and 41 (I might have butchered the levels wrong, haha) one being the uppermost part of the Twin Tower where there is a visitor information centre and a scaled model of the whole city of KL while the other is a visitor lounge where one can see the infographics describing comparison between the Twin Tower and other tall skyscrapers in the world - while perhaps ordering a premium price for a coffee and browsing some Twin Towers merchandises. The whole tour will take 30 minutes total.
You have to book for this visit preferably around a week prior, although technically you can walk-in. I actually booked for a 6.30 pm visit (RM 35 for citizen, booked via official website much cheaper) but came late at 6.35 pm hoping to join the tailend of the tour. I didn’t realize you really need to come 15 minites before the actual time of visit. Luckily the organizer accommodated me and my wife and rescheduled us for the 7 pm visit. For me these are the perfect time for visit which is near the sunset time and KL city is most beautiful and it’s imperfections and blemishes...
