Mr Fish Seafood Noodle 1 Mont Kiara — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered the RM138 seafood set and waited 30 minutes for it to arrive — only to be served raw fish. Not undercooked — completely raw.

I immediately flagged it to the staff, who took the raw fish back to the kitchen to let the chef “verify” whether the fish was actually raw — as if it wasn’t obvious. No apology, no urgency, no accountability. Just a vague explanation and more waiting.

It took another 30 minutes for a replacement to arrive. By that time, I’d completely lost my appetite and any confidence in the kitchen’s standards. Paying RM138 for the food that could send you to the hospital is beyond unacceptable.

This isn’t just bad service — it’s a serious food safety issue. Serving raw seafood without proper preparation, clear labeling, or warning is outright dangerous. Clearly, there’s no quality control in this kitchen. The staff seemed indifferent, the management invisible, and the entire operation feels like it’s running on hype rather than professionalism.

Overpriced, overrated, and a health hazard. I strongly advise avoiding this place — unless you're okay with long waits, poor service, and the risk of food poisoning. This restaurant seriously needs a wake-up call before something...

Definitely not one of the best Mr.Fish branches in town. Imagine Google opening hours stating that the shop opens at 10am, with that it should be that from 10am onwards, the shop should be READY TO SERVE. Guess what?? Instead, the staffs only open the shop barrier at 10, and starts doing their preparation (which SHOULD have been ready before shop opens to serve). On top of that, you have to wait for at least 30mins from 10am onwards for the food to be served - 10.35am to be exact. Meaning, once you arrive at the shop on time at 10am. You'll still need to wait for another MORE THAN 30minutes for the food to be served. Not sure whether if this is the company policy, where staffs are only allowed to come in at 10am (cuz employer wna save costss) , or its the staffs themselves that feel like coming in the SAME TIME as shown on Google Opening times is more reasonable to their wage rate.

Anyhow, something needs to be seriously look into here!!

P.S. Their electricity also got jumped twice, within the span of waiting fr the food to be served.

Food itself is fine, but other than that, definitely not...

This is probably the best Mr Fish branch I have been to. The service was impeccable. Staff were on point particularly the girl wearing glasses last night at around 8pm. I didn’t quite get her name. Glasses were slightly translucent frame kind. She was very patient in explaining the menu and recommending food and also all the promotions and always had a very friendly tone and smile.

Only thing is I feel they should be allowed to sit down to have their meals somewhere? She was seen eating her meal behind the cashier which was quite sad to see. Not that it’s an eye sore but just felt bad cause she’s so nice and works so hard maybe management can give them a space to have their meals? I don’t think it’s bad for them to eat at an empty table somewhere in the restaurant since the place is huge..

Highly commendable staff. Definitely a keeper....
