Happy Garden Vege Cafe (Setapak) — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Food is okay, price isn't too bad. It's nicely decorated and played soft acoustic music (at least the time I visited). Large menu with a lot of mock meat dishes, although it is a bit more oily than I like. On a brighter note, food came to the table very fast! It's very easy to find because the outside is very visible and parking is no trouble. Although, the chairs are a bit worn at the seams, they are very comfortable to sit on. However, tissues aren't a very easy access item and I hope this issue gets resolve soon. Otherwise, very nice restaurant. I recommend coming with family and/or friends. If you are a student, this place is a good place for studying as it's quiet and has an assortment of calming beverages.

edit: I came back 3 weeks later and had the sweet and sour mushrooms with ginger tea again, and the place hasn't changed at all....

I personally don’t like the service there, I went there at 230 and been told I only can take away or eat within half an hour cause they want to close the restaurant sharp at 3. 😞. Finally able to dine in there, my kid’s spoon dropped on floor and asked them to change a new one, but they just rinsed it and passed it back to me. Food served slow, hence I took the cracker from shelf and opened for my kids cause they were hungry, however, later on I’d been warned by the waitress that we cannot simply open the food from shelf without permission, hmm, I felt offended as I’m not intending to eat the cracker without paying.

Overall, food taste so so for dishes but I like their kampung fried rice. If their service can improve then I will definitely go back to the restaurant again.

Please mind your word when speaking with customer especially the uncle

Due to the air inside the shop is not good flow...my husband accidently sneeze...

But the staff inside straight away blame us will killing other customer inside and say really loud

Even instruct manners to ask us finish eat already faster wear your mask as you are killing the kid there ...

This kinda service ? You could politely to tell us properly and we are not purposely to do it and my husband quickly go out of shop to get some fresh air

If we found got covid, would not come out to eat and affect people ..

If people scared of covid how about don't come out from house better as virus everywhere...and seem you so scare dont...
