O'Briens Irish Sandwich Cafe @ Bangsar South — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I recently visited O'Briens Irish Sandwich Cafe at Bangsar South, a relatively new addition to the area. It's worth noting that before the pandemic, this space used to house Touch 'n Go's office and cafe.

My friend and I dropped by around 10.30 in the morning to grab some sandwiches for an upcoming meeting scheduled for 11.00. The service was impressively swift, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, which made our experience all the more pleasant.

We opted for the breakfast set, which included a choice of sandwich along with a coffee or tea. While the price of the breakfast set leaned slightly towards the higher side, it felt appropriate for a corporate meeting setting.

The cafe itself spans two floors, with ordering done on the ground floor. This layout provides a nice sense of space and comfort.

A great place to chill and relax lunch. Cozy ambience. Their staff are friendly and service is prompt. The manager also helps out the dine-in customers with pleasant attitude and smile.

I highly recommend their Chicken Crisp & Brie Shambo and Triple Decker sandwiches. These are not mere sandwiches, my friend. They are a whole meal in itself! Both of these sandwiches are toasted and loaded with fillings like beef bacon, chicken slice and coleslaw. Damn, what an excellent service. Greeted the second I entered the restaurant by the manager (Im guessing he's the manager), and he even took my order. Helped me with getting a combo for my food as well. Havent felt this welcomed in a restaurant/store for quite some time. The cashier was friendly too. Looks like the restaurant is running like a well-oiled machine. O'Brien's sandwiches have always been excellent, but this kind of service makes it a thousand times better.
