Came here on a weekday around 5ish pm for an early dinner. Place came highly recommended by muslim friends for fine halal korean food.
Perhaps due to our odd timing, no server greeted us outside until we went deep into the restaurant. We were led to a pleasant private dining area with closing doors.
Ordered the kbbq set (beef), pajeon and crispy sweet potatoes.
Service was great. We were waited on by 2 different servers and at one point by the korean female owner.
Meat quality was good, we opted to replace the beef tartare with beef belly as we didnt eat raw meat. However i feel the plating of beef could be better.
Dining partner enjoyed the pajeon despite not being a fan of doughy foods.
The real star of our meal was the crispy honey sweet potatoes, which we ordered to end our meal. Goodness these were so addicting- crunchy and sticky and fragrant on the outside and soft and moist inside! At rm15/serving, I’d come back again just to eat this!
Banchan comes refillable.
Overall enjoyed our kbbq experience here. Ambience felt calm, and private room allowed for uninterrupted conversation.
Perfect place to entertain with pleasant atmosphere...
Read moreAverage lunch menu or even slightly lower than average. I go to this place only when i'm lazy or would like to have lunch in pleasant environment. But the other day even the service was unpleasant. When i entered with my local colleague we asked for room seats but the staff didn't recognize that i'm korean and informed us there's no more room left in english. Before then, whenever i'm with koreans only, I mostly had meals in a room.
But when another korean colleague who is also a regular customer entered and the staff recognized him, she let us have a room eventually! It would have been better if the staff informed that room seats are for only special guests and not lying with excuses. This reatuarant really should change the way they treat local irregular visiting customers. Otherwise making customers upset like the last time will definetely happen again.
Other than that, mostly the staffs are well-trained and side dishes, complimentary tea are good. Bibimbap tastes better than other lunch menu with...
Read moreA nice and quiet setting for lunch alone or in a private room for groups. Their menu features a large option of Korean dishes , some exotic , that are not found in typical Korean restaurants in Klang Valley. Price per pax a little steeper than average. Look to spend between RM 40-50 for a lunch set with taxes included. Service is good, nothing to mention here. I had the beef tartare bibimbap with the usual house side dishes. It was good. Something different than your typical beef, pork, chicken or seafood bibimbap. Note: Kimchi is refillable. Sets come with petite desserts of Korean traditional sweet tea, and...
