Ordered some frozen pao for take away and told the staff i will collect after visiting the nearby bakery. Unfortunately, i have forgotten to collect my order and returned to Ampang. I called Wah Cai to enquire abt my order, he was very nice to tell me i can come back to collect another day. When i asked if i can collect from its Setapak branch which is nearer to me, Wah Cai has been very understanding and obliged to my request and arranged with the contact person at Setapak branch, Ken, for me to collect my order.
When i visited setapak branch, i was greeted by a staff even b4 stepping into their cozy fully aircond restaurant. We decided to dine in while collecting the missed order. Ken was very easy to communicate, helpful and hands on. Our missed order were nicely packed while we enjoyed the delicious freshly made dim Sum. Their coffee were made to my liking, not too sweet as requested. Was very impressed with the top notch service from the team in Setapak branch, Ken and everyone in his team has provided very pleasant and warmth hospitality throughout our meal. It is definately worth coming back for more.
Also wish to thanks Wai Cai once again for his efficient arrangement and assistance. Eden is definately my first choice for dim sum whether in Setapak or Menjalara due to its excellent food quality and excellent...
Read moreHaven't been here for almost three years. Dim sum used to be nice but today's visit was such a disappointment. Tremendous drop in quality as most steamed dim sum tasted like frozen dim sum that one can easily buy online and reheat at home. Ordered my favorite fried prawn dumplings but it comes with small amount of prawn and super thick dumpling skin. The fried "wu kok" (mashed taro with char siew bao filling) was horrible as the filling was like a blended paste. Worst still, both myself and my partner were damn thirsty not long after leaving this place. Guess too much msg in one or more of their dim sum. Sorry to say I won't patronize this place anymore as these "cheap" quality dim sum doesn't comes with "cheap" price (i.e. expensive price that doesn't commensurate...
Read moreDim Sum with 3 different price RM5.60/6.30/7.80. If only look at the price is little pricey but if consider the dim sum portion they serve, this price is extremely expensive. All dim sum portion size are very very small, no joke, the seaweed fish ball roll size is just like a woman thumb size, the xiao long bao is just like fried fish ball size, the liu sha bao is similar to boiled egg size. The food taste is just similar to pasar malam or kopitiam factory made dim sum, taste salty, ajinomoto taste, the skin of har GAO and xiao long bao are very thick. Xiao long bao is the worst, when we gently grip the top of the xiao long bao with chopsticks, the skin burst and separated from top to bottom, It was a complete failure. Overall, not...
