Sunday 9 February 2025 - came here for dim sum breakfast before heading for the next activity. There were plenty of tables occupied.
As usual someone came with the tray and told us what they have at the moment. This person was holding the deep fried dim sum items. Picked a few and then requested for some steam items, especially, har gow and siu mai, which is a must. Other than that were Cheung fun, both prawn and char siu.
The person marked on the order card, a very traditional way of ordering. This method or system has been commonly used in dim sum businesses.
The deep fried items arrived and served gradually. Then came the Cheung fun. Whilst eating and waiting for the must have items to be served, a couple of times were brought to the table items we did not order.
Seems like a mixed up. The person who brought the ready to eat items were Myanmar workers. So have to call for a local to tell them we are still waiting for the must have items. The person told us, it was not marked. So she marked it on the order card.
And we kept waiting a little longer. Since it's getting late to go to the next activity, decided to cancel the 2 items and pay for what's due.
At the cashier's counter, we told the person that the 2 must have items ordered did not arrived and wanted to cancel it and pay the bill. We were rudely told that, "You have to wait for your order!"
That's not the way to serve the customer. Terrible.
Food is okay, but with this rudeness, it is a no no. Not that we were cross about not getting it. Just that...

Despite having a good texture, the porridge was lacking in fragrance and failed to deliver on expected flavours, particularly evident in the absence of the distinctive aroma and taste of century egg.
While the chee cheong fun suffered from thickness and underseasoning, compounded by a dull sambal.
🤝 Service [4/5] The service was commendable, standing out in comparison to other dim sum establishments where rudeness is often encountered. The unique approach of presenting unsteamed dim sum for selection before promptly steaming them ensures freshness, though it does entail some waiting time. A similar process applies to fried items, albeit with a potentially limited selection due to the logistical challenges of on-demand frying.
🏞️ Ambience [2/5] Unlike the typical air-conditioned dim sum venues, this establishment operates in an open-air setting, potentially subject to warmth depending on weather conditions.
💲 Value [1/5] At a price exceeding RM30 per person, the overall value proposition is disappointing given the quality of food and ambience. With each plate of dim sum priced at an average of RM9, well above the norm for similar establishments, the subpar food quality fails to justify the inflated costs, resulting in a disheartening...
Read moreFood - generally the regular selections are all tasty, I enjoyed it but not the expensive one, so as a tip order the regular one instead.
Service - attentive staff to mention that they are so proactive with our order
Payment Option - they don't offer cc payment, so make sure you bring cash or you have credits in your e wallet like TNG.
Price - quite pricey but nonetheless justified if you compare the taste and quality of their dimsum with big restos alike.
Ambience & Location - corner lot so you should expect it would be kinda traffic and car parking is an issue especially since they share the same space (parking) with...
