Roofino Skydining — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

My wife had made a reservation here for my birthday celebration weeks ago, but had to be postponed due to various reasons. But we finally made it last night when everybody could attend, except for Eidlan. Having an outdoor dinner on an open roof at the 33th floor wouldnt be a suitable ocassion for somebody his age. Due to that, we missed him terribly!!😘😍

Our reservation was for 7:00 pm, but we arrived at 6:40 pm, which was a good thing, as a big crowd was already earlier than us. There were very limited seatings at the outdoor al fresco dining tables, which offered a mesmerizing night view of downtown KL, including the KLCC Twin Towers which was especially lighted with colors of the Malaysian flag, as a celebration for Malaysia Day. So, who would want to sit inside and miss all the fun?🥳🥳🎉🎊

We started our event with a photoshoot, what else?🤭..From the 33th floor, we could only capture one of the Twin Towers, but that already provided us all with enough excitement!!🤣🤣..Amir & Etty arrived a bit later than us, but by that time all the orders have been delivered to our table by the ever so courteous and helpful waiter, Rakib. He has only been in Malaysia for 6 months, but had proven to us as an examplary staff, and a precious asset to the company...👍👍👍😊

I ordered the excellent and delicious Braised Lambshank, which was prepared just the way I like it...not too soft and not too moist..😋😋😋..Daniel went for the Lamb cutlet, which was quite small in portion, and he was left hungry for more! Etty had the Margharita Pizza that tasted so good and everybody wanted to have a slice each, resulting in the second repeat order..🤭🤭...My wife only finished half of her Salmon Aglio Olio, as she couldnt resist the pizza either, but her dinner was finished between Daniel and me..I have to admit, that was among the best Salmon Aglio Olio I had ever tasted!!😋😋😋...Amir had the Linguini Carbonara with Duckbreast, and he quickly and quietly finished his meal with no fuss at all, and nonchalantly moved to the pizza next!!🤣🤣 Najwa had the Fettucinne Salmon Creme, which was so marvellous that she only left very little for Daniel and me to sample...and I dont blame her either, as the taste was so exquisite!!😋😋😋

We left the restaurant after taking a group family photo, with the colorful Twin Tower as a background. Najwa and Amir fought over picking the tabs, but Najwa finally emerged the victor..Ahh..this beautiful scene just made my birthday celebration so much better and meaningful...Thank you, Najwa and Amir...and also to my wife for making the arrangement, as well as Etty and Daniel for making such great efforts..Love you all so...

Went to Roofino Skydining for our 1st anniversary. When we stepped into the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the staff! Our table were preset with rose petals as we had went to the restaurant 3 days in advance to make a reservation for the love menu. In addition to the love menu which includes seafood soup, salad, main course (we got austrlian ribeye and salmon) and chocolate moose with ice cream as desert, we also ordered garlic bread, garlic prawns, spanish meatballs, chili beef salami pizza, one mocktail and one cocktail. Garlic bread is nicely toasted with very fragrant garlic taste. Garlic prawns are fresh and juicy. Love the little bit of bitterness from the garlic! The sauce from the spanish meatball is fragrant and nice too. Love the cheese and thin crust for chili beef salami pizza! The beef salami are very tasty too and the chili just enhances the overall flavour! There are a lot of ingredients for the seafood soup like prawn, mussel and clams. Seafood food is very thick and rich. Salad is alright. Australian ribeye is a little overcooked for my taste (medium). Chocolate mousse with ice cream is superb! Service is really great. We were served by Mr Rawan. He is an excellent staff! He is very polite and attentive and makes sure to give us the heads up on upcoming dishes. Then he will come back to let us know the dish will be arriving soon. He also suggested for us to take pictures at the outer area and whenever our dish is ready and while we are still outside, he will come out to look for us and let us know our food is ready. He checks up on us for every dish if the food is okay. The other staffs were super friendly and offered to help us to take pictures! We had an awesome time at Roofino Skydining! Trying out another rooftop bar in KLCC area! My friend introduce me to this one, not that far from intermark mall, which is reachable by foot from LRT IMO. The thing that impressed me a lot is the service they have given. Totally satisfied with how they served us with smile and give us water and free snack after our light drinking.

It was such a shame that they didn't state what kind of happy hour they have in the menu, so it was unknown if you don't ask whether they have happy hour or not. The happy hour only for the Beers and shoots only btw. No happy hour for cocktails. Price wise, it's almost all the same with the rooftop bar around the area. Location wise, good enough as you can see the surrounding building and high enough to enjoy the KL view. The atmosphere in the bar also nice and cozy, the music they played is slow (might be because we went there before 7) and that make it's easier to talk with whoever you come with. The placement of everything either inside or outside made this place looks really comfy for chilling around. I love sitting outside better tho.

Anyway, we only order the beer (I forgot the name, it's stated in the glass lol) and lil appetizers, bruchetta with cream cheese, walnut and pear. The beer is light and nice, I loved it. While the food.... To be honest, they caramelized the walnut really well, and it's just right for my taste. I loved how the caramelized walnuts goes really well with the cream cheese. However, for the pear, it was losing in taste. Pear and cream cheese isn't a good mix in this case. Well, it's pretty hard to mix all the elements together tbh.... While, eating only one side made it feels strange as the pear side isn't as tasty as the walnut side. Well, overall I...
