3rd September 2024: Currently they have opening promo for selected Mains, Egg Tarts and Beverages (20% off).
Atmosphere: 4.25🌟 It's simple and clean design with high ceilings making it feel spacious. Solid tables and nice chairs with decent gaps between tables except the one with bench seats which is quite near. Very comfy chilling air conditioning but the place is a bit noisy still with the crowd.
Service: 3.5🌟 A very busy waitress during a busy lunch hour so I think they could use an additional pair of hands. Clearing tables, taking orders, serving food & drinks are slow. They also ran out of ordering paper, and should refill it at the start of the day to avoid this. The kitchen and cashier counter area all look busy as well during this peak hour. As this place is newly launched, hopefully this will be improved eventually.
Food: Nasi Lemak Chicken Chop 3.5🌟 The sambal is quite nice and have some spiciness in it. The nuts and anchovies is a bit salty so definately needs to eat with the rice. Rice is quite nice as well, fluffy and fresh. Chicken chop isn't oily and quite crispy. Priced at Rm 15.90 but only Rm 9.90 now (opening promo), definately worth to try this during promo.
Toast: Portuguese Tart 3.75🌟 Although I'm not a fan of milky flavour in egg tarts, but this one seems a bit more bearable for me. The main thing that I like is how thin the bottom layer of the batter is and how nice/thin/soft/crispy and flakey the multi layered batter on the side as well. It feels very nicely done as I really dislike those hard thick crust tarts. Priced at Rm 3.50 but only Rm 1 now (opening promo), definately worth to try this during promo.
Drinks: Kopi C (Cold) 3.5🌟 Can adjust sweetness to smallest level of 25%. Ordered with 50% and it feels right, some sweetness to balance the bitterness in the coffee. The coffee flavor feels like having a very strong burnt flavour. I think I like the cups more than the drink itself. Priced at Rm 8.90 but only Rm 7.10 now (opening promo)
Drinks: Water...
Read moreGreat atmosphere, I would sit in the cafe for casual browsing and just enjoy the air cond. Maybe there's not many people who ordered fried stuff, there's no issue with smell on the day I went
Service is average. Not bad, nothing notable
Food Siam mihun with curry chicken: chicken was well cooked; tender and easily falls apart Taste is good Portion of the mihun is a bit small for my preference though
Teh ice: you can specify the sweetness level of the drink. I ordered 25% sweet and it's pretty good
Kaya butter toast: the bread used is the flat squared white bread, it's not the bread I prefer for kaya butter toast because it's ( I prefer roti bengali style bread for these ) That said, it's toasted well.
All in all,...
Read moreThe restaurant was empty except for one other person who is currently eating. We ordered simple food: mee siam, milo toast and prawn mee. After almost half an hour the food didn’t arrive. We had to ask twice only to find that nobody bothered to make our food because of oversight. It’s been more than 40 minutes and finally 2/3 of the food is served.
The food is decent and the ambience is nice don’t get me wrong, but the lack of accountability and subpar service is very...
